Une super course accompagnée d'Elodie 😀 une belle solidarité entre nous tout du long. Allure tranquille dès le début, bien dans mes jambes et avec mon souffle (double dose de mon traitement pour l'asthme ce matin 😆) à partir du 7eme km c'était "chouette il neige" puis la neige a commencé a bien tomber 😝 on voyait plus rien, ça glissait sous chaque pas.. au 15eme j'en avais marre "neige de merde" 😜Impossible d'accélérer comme prévu au 17ème.. donc on a fini tant bien que mal en 2h05 😀🎉 vu les conditions je suis super contente, ça a été dur mais on a rien lâché 😊 ! Aucune douleur nul part 🎉😊 Je finis cette année 2017 mieux que je ne l'ai commencé ! La reprise a été longue depuis ma blessure, mais j'ai enfin pris ma revanche ! Certes pas un RP aujourd'hui, mais l'émotion était là à l'arrivée 😊😊 📷 by @mathieupettinotti

The conclusion of the science experiment no one was asking for is here! I completed the three day cleanse... kind of. I ate more fruit than was allowed and also had a piece of string cheese. I am three lbs lighter this morning and feel pretty good. My overall reaction is: I didn't really need to do this but since I ran out of preworkout I figured it was a good weekend to take off from working out anyway... it wasn't that fun but it also didn't totally suck!
The usual 30 minutes while Cove was at music 🎸🎤🎸🎤 He’s going to be learning guitar next year which is super exciting! He’s such a music lover like his dad and I which makes us so proud 💖💖💖 Crazy headwind and heat this evening so a sneaky dip in the pool once I got home was the perfect recovery 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼 Five and a half sleeps until 6 Inch and I guess I’m doing a mini taper 🙃🙃🙃 Its really a long training run for ADU 50km but at the same time I want to have fresh legs if I’m going to be on my feet for more than five hours 🏃🏼♀️🏃🏼♀️🏃🏼♀️ A little concerned about fueling as I don’t usually fuel on a long run these days but when I practiced my usual race day nutrition last weekend using Tailwind I felt like vomiting 🤮🤮🤮So not sure what else to use!

Today I ran my first marathon. The sense of accomplishment that I have right now is indescribable. From here on out, I will always think of my life in terms of before and after this day. Now I am a marathoner.
