In it together.... 🏃🏽♀️🏃🏻♂️running and lets face it LIFE can sometimes be lonely. I've struggled a lot with anxiety, stress and loneliness but find the running community so kind and mostly really inclusive- especially after the reaction to yesterday's exciting announcement.
So let's do this together🙌🏻, lets Run up 2 Christmas and raise funds for MIND, the amazing mental health charity. This isn't a run streak, (yay!) you choose how many KM/miles you want to run between 1st-25th December - 50KM,100KM, 150KM, 200KM or 250KM. I think I'm going to try for 150KM! That works out as 6K a day. Lets try to be really supportive of everyone taking part, follow the hashtag, comment, like, make their day. 🇺🇸 Great morning run. Run parts of Jönköping Marathon course when all the snow suddenly is gone. Lovely feeling under the shoes again 🤗👌. Later it will be some speed and try to find the easy step and feeling. In the background you see the bridge (the finish of the race).
My little boy is ill so the 10 miles I had planned for today became a painfully slow 10k around the @walthamstowwetlands with the buggy. I felt like the unfittest person in the world for the first half and kicked myself for drinking too much wine last night until I realised that one of the tires barely had any air in it. No wonder I felt like I was pushing a small car. 🙄
8km with my little guy today ✔ Avg pace 6:11/km avg HR 141bpm. 6.5km at easy pace and some hill "sprints" (quotations because me "sprinting" with the double is really just me struggling at a slightly faster pace 😂) at the end for kicks 😉 The weather was amazing with the sun shining down on us. After yesterday's wind storm I was certain that today was going to be another treadmill run so we're happy for that time outdoors 😊🎉 Baby boy is feeling much better today and had an amazing sleep (and so did this mama)! Thanks for all your well wishes 😘💖

Most people don’t get it. If you want great results, you need to be committed. You think it was all smiles when my first alarm went off at 3 AM to start fueling up and the second alarm at 4:00 AM for my run at 4:15 AM? NO. You think when the race where I’m gonna qualify to Boston comes I’m gonna hope for everything to go well so I can get the time needed? NO. It’s not a “I kinda want it” shit. I want it and I’m gonna get it. No matter what it takes.

The storm clouds were brewing in the background but don’t be fooled, it was hot hot hot at RUNFIT tonight ☀️
2 min intervals with diminishing recoveries was the plan and with a spray bottle in hand I did the best to keep these guys cool as they smashed those intervals!! Running in the heat takes time to adjust to but with the right physical and mental preparation you can do it. Well done crew...it’s great to be back...xx

A foto que representou a minha última Meia Maratona do ano... a prova foi perfeita, além de bater meu recorde pessoal conheci uma das cidades que desde criança sempre quis conhecer... faltou pegar onda claro rs, mas na próxima com certeza não faltará oportunidade 🏄🏻♂️🏄🏻♂️🏄🏻♂️... Minha prova foi perfeita, tracei um planejamento conservador nos primeiros 10k pace entre 4:40 e 4:50 e após isso comecei a dar de tudo pace entre 4:30 e 4:40 até o final o que resultou no meu melhor tempo oficial em Meia maratonas 1:38:59... Se tivesse uma palavra para representar este final de semana de prova com certeza seria PERFEITO.
Agora a partir da próxima, semana começarei minha preparação para o desafio cidade maravilhosa que acontecerá em Jun/18, onde correrei 21km + 42km em dois dias 😅🏃🏻 então Vamu que vamu que o ano não acabou... Obrigado a todos vcs que torceram por mim neste ano quero que saibam que torço por todos vcs tbm e amo cada mensagem de incentivo de cada um!!! Meu desejo é que todos vcs corram !!! 😍😄🏃🏻🏃🏻♀️😁
Если увидите, что я хожу как калека - не удивляйтесь. Тренер @zadorozhnyy1963 решил добить мои ноги несколькими силовыми подряд и теперь походка у меня примерно такая: перекатываясь с одной ноги на другую, на лесенках просто спрыгивая, и вообще придерживаюсь тактики "тише едешь - дальше будешь". А еще не понимаю, каким образом через месяц уже может быть новый год. Куда время летит?
