Baixo corpo, drinkability bem alto. Final herbal, suave cítrico com leve acidez.
Portuguese Imperial Saison aged in Moscatel barrels for 8 months. So delicious! Fruity and sweet, slightly tart, wild yeast esters and not boozy considering it's 10% abv. Collab between @cervejaletra and @doiscorvos
Decisions decisions!!! Which one shall I drink first?? So I kinda went on a shopping spree...i think the guy at the liquor store was confused 😂😂
I'll post reviews and the rest of the beer I bought through out the week so stayyy tunnneeddd!!
Saison Dupont by @BreweryDupont
The quintessential Saison beer.
On the nose slightly skunky, estery, alcohol, cotton candy, brown sugar and pepper. Overall it's slightly sweet and boozy. Veers close to the Strong Belgian Ale side while staying planted in the Saison camp.
Slightly dank up front, resinous, but then banana, caramel, but sharp turn to grass, esters, ultra dry, pithy almost. Definitely fully attenuated. This is the kind of dryness I adore but can be off-putting to some.
This is a must-drink in the summer. I wish it were at the LCBO as a regular entry.
Yet another highlight from last night. This collab from @rusticales with @jackieosbrewery @tiredhandsbrewing and @sideprojectbrew was a near perfect sour saison. It lacked a tad of that funk but made up for it with a balanced acidity, boatloads of stone fruit in the middle, and a depth of mineral water, chewable vitamin flavor at the finish. Damn. I want more. #saison#craftbeer#craftbeerporn#sour#westcoast#eastcoast
