Anyone meal prepping today? I feel like I've been talking a LOT about easy meal prep lately with clients! One of my fave tricks? Getting my chopping out of the way. If I know I want to make a quick veggie stir fry one night, I chop the veggies I have so in a night or two all I have to do is just toss 'em in a pan! This can easily save 5-15 minutes of time right here (and be the difference between dinner at home or out). Are you planning on making anything this week that you can prep and chop for today? Share your dinner plans and recipes!!
P.S. These veggies are brushed with olive oil and ready for the grill for my Grilled Greek Salad - search for the recipe on nutritiontofit.com!

Steak Salad with Marinated Red Onions
grilled strip steak or any steak, softly cooked eggs, chopped tomatoes, avocado, hearts of palm, and radishes, then drizzled with an avocado cilantro dressing. I prefer my steak on the very pink and juicy side, but cook to whatever temperature you prefer. You can't go wrong. Do you know about my marinated red onions? Twice a week I marinate one half a sliced red onion with olive oil, a dash of vinegar, a crack of pepper and a sprinkle of oregano and salt, then leave them on my counter. They are a delightful addition to almost anything. Make a steak salad soon – you will love it!
GIMME ALL THE GREENS 🌱😜
Today I shared a little of my vegan story on my FB like page and confessed my previous addiction....CHEESE.
I initially changed my lifestyle for my health. To FEEL better 💞
And that’s why I choose to fill my plate with colorful foods instead of the processed, cheesy foods I used to eat
Anyone can do this. It’s not for a particular “type” of person.
AND you can DEFINITELY do this on a budget 🙂🙌

In my bowl: mixed greens, lots of pepitas, cucumber, vegan ranch, roasted carrots, yams, parsnips, & beets!
Mediteranean SALMON SALAD
I really like to keep @costco canned wild Atlantic salmon in my pantry for a quick lunch dish. I like it better than canned tuna cuz doesn't taste fishy. These cans are only about $12 for 6 - 6 oz cans! Totally reccomend this recipe below for a super quick, protein packed lunch or dinner!
directions ---> mix together 1 can of drained wild atlantic salmon from @costco + juice of 1 lemon 🍋 + @traderjoes spicy mustard + @traderjoes yellow mustard + chopped pickles + chopped black olives + chopped celery + onion powder + garlic powder + pepper + pink Himalayan salt. Serve on top of a bed of romaine lettuce + tomato 🍅 + cucumber 🥒
Anyone have any special ingredients they like to add to a canned tuna/salmon salad? I would love to try your suggestions ❤️
Super simple, quick and easy!!.

Spinach has been my favorite green lately.🌿I used to make most of my salads with romaine lettuce, but I’ve been loving these giant spinach salads. This dressing is tomato, mango, celery and basil. Added some diced tomatoes, mango and avocado to top it off! 🍅🥑#rawfooducation
This weeks Salad of the Week recipe is all about fall 🍂 Fall Apple Farro Salad with a Honey Vinaigrette 🍏🍴 We are heading into sweets and indulgent season so kicking up the greens 🌱
I don't always post salad recipes but when I do it's a bomb ass salad. My husband wants this salad again tomorrow but doubled in size with some garlic bread. 🙌🏼
It's butter lettuce mixed with spinach (buy the organic lettuce, don't encourage Monsanto). Fuji apples, walnuts, dried cranberries, red onions, fresh beets, shaved Parmesan (not grated, there's a difference!) DRESSING....mix 3 tbsp sour cream, 3 tbsp red wine vinegar, a little Dijon mustard, crushed black pepper and a big tbsp blue cheese.
You're welcome. 🙇🏻♀️
When it's 6:30 pm and you realize you've been working so hard all day, you forgot to eat. 😱
A friend of mine just told me that I completely changed the way she makes salad. I was so proud, and gratified that I could make her life and her diet easier. 👊🏼
What was it that changed her outlook? I told her that she shouldn't worry about salad "recipes." While I create salad recipes from time to time, it's definitely the category I struggle with most, because I don't really believe in salad recipes. The best salad is the one that you make from whatever you have one hand. This bowl right here is the perfect example. I never would published a recipe using this, but I threw together whatever I had on hand that didn't need any work. And let me tell you, it's really good! •
If you're always looking for the next great salad recipe, challenge yourself to skip the recipe. Get inspired by what's in your fridge, what's on sale at your grocery store, and what's in season and just put some things together. Trust me. 😉
This is what my lunch looks like today and most days👆🏻huge salad with roasted butternut squash😍+crockpot chicken🐔+ grape tomatoes🍅+ mushrooms🍄+ half 🥑 (I usually eat the other half at breakfast or dinner) and I’ve been loving @primalkitchenfoods salad dressings😍made with avocado oil and only natural ingredients! (Highly recommended)
Greek Salad - Portion Controlled! I previously would calorie count, restrict myself to big extremes, didn’t eat the right amount of each of the food groups. I love these containers soooo much guys, it has been simple and easy for me to get all the right portions and not over eat! The reason I gained so much weight was because I was eating huge portions, and unhealthy foods.
My clean eating group is preparing and I am so excited to finally be back on track after vacation!
1 green of salad greens
1 green of tomatoes and cucumbers
1 blue of feta cheese
1 orange of kalamata olives
1 yellow - 2 pieces of pita bread
& balsamic vinegar is a freebie!
You guys have to try this salad dressing! I just blended all these ingredients up in my blender and topped it over some spinach and chopped corn and tomatoes. I love using corn as a base to make salads and dressings. Also, corn combines really well with basil and lots of other spices. #rawfooducation
I've always enjoyed eating salad for lunch simply because (A) you don't feel guilty after and (B) it doesn't increase that mid day "I need a nap" feeling. But honestly when I think salad I think lettuce and veggies and who really wants to eat that every day? I sure don't! I have recently discovered my new found love for taco salad! 🌮➕🥗=😍
I simply made ground turkey and chicken with some taco seasoning and then added the lettuce, tomato, onion, a small amount of black beans and a small amount of cheese! Plus a little salsa 💃🏼for dressing!! 👌🏽
Do you guys have any salad recipes that don't make you dread lunch time? Help me eat healthy!!

Purple sweet potatoes are back!!! 🤤💜 Not only are they beautiful and delicious, but they're an amazing source of vitamin A, which is so important (especially as the weather gets colder) in order to keep our skin healthy + vibrant! The best part is that they're packed with anthocyanins, which have anti-inflammatory properties and even anti-cancer benefits 😲 My favorite brand is @friedasproduce, so get over to your @wholefoodsnyc and grab some up while you can! 🍠🥒🥑 (Kale + romaine, purple sweet potatoes, cucumber, red + yellow cherry tomatoes, avocado, hemp seeds, + tahini)
