Anyone meal prepping today? I feel like I've been talking a LOT about easy meal prep lately with clients! One of my fave tricks? Getting my chopping out of the way. If I know I want to make a quick veggie stir fry one night, I chop the veggies I have so in a night or two all I have to do is just toss 'em in a pan! I prefer my steak on the very pink and juicy side, but cook to whatever temperature you prefer. You can't go wrong. Do you know about my marinated red onions? Twice a week I marinate one half a sliced red onion with olive oil, a dash of vinegar, a crack of pepper and a sprinkle of oregano and salt, then leave them on my counter. They are a delightful addition to almost anything. Make a steak salad soon – you will love it!

I really like to keep @costco canned wild Atlantic salmon in my pantry for a quick lunch dish. I like it better than canned tuna cuz doesn't taste fishy. These cans are only about $12 for 6 - 6 oz cans! Totally reccomend this recipe below for a super quick, protein packed lunch or dinner!

Biri biber sevmez, biri soğan yemez, biri limonlu ister, öbürü sirkeli olsun der, beriki nar ekşisi olmadan elini sürmez. ORGANISED MESS! Not everything has to be neat, clean and perfectly ordered. It's great to allow ourselves to colour outside of the lines, be spontaneous, get messy. However, a graceful touch of organisation is pretty useful. So it is in life, and with food! Whenever we cook here at home we make sure to cook enough for at least two more portions...a couple of nights ago we cooked enough wild rice and quinoa for at least the rest of the week! This tiny bit of effort leads to so much more ease throughout the week. Today, all I've had to do for a substantial, delicious lunch is to chop up a couple of large handfuls of spinach and a good portion of coriander (and when I say good I mean large, I am obsessed with fresh coriander at the moment!), add cooked rice and leftover thai red curry. It's not neat. It's a messy bowl of fresh, minimal-prep food, and it's damn tasty, satisfying and energising - the way salads are supposed to be. ORGANISED MESS! Not everything has to be neat, clean and perfectly ordered. It's great to allow ourselves to colour outside of the lines, be spontaneous, get messy. However, a graceful touch of organisation is pretty useful. So it is in life, and with food! Whenever we cook here at home we make sure to cook enough for at least two more portions...a couple of nights ago we cooked enough wild rice and quinoa for at least the rest of the week! This tiny bit of effort leads to so much more ease throughout the week. Today, all I've had to do for a substantial, delicious lunch is to chop up a couple of large handfuls of spinach and a good portion of coriander (and when I say good I mean large, I am obsessed with fresh coriander at the moment!), add cooked rice and leftover thai red curry. It's not neat. It's a messy bowl of fresh, minimal-prep food, and it's damn tasty, satisfying and energising - the way salads are supposed to be. It's butter lettuce mixed with spinach (buy the organic lettuce, don't encourage Monsanto). Fuji apples, walnuts, dried cranberries, red onions, fresh beets, shaved Parmesan (not grated, there's a difference!) DRESSING....mix 3 tbsp sour cream, 3 tbsp red wine vinegar, a little Dijon mustard, crushed black pepper and a big tbsp blue cheese.

Yesterday’s salad🥗, today’s prep, and Little Man’s lunch. We got great news today about our petite guy - he’s back on the growth charts‼Some days we want to throw in the towel and let him survive off of milk 🍼and ice cream🍦, but instead I do exactly what I’d tell a client: keep offering. Tomorrow he gets garlic chicken, millet (which he’s been loving), roasted butternut squash, and pomegranate seeds. Not pictured in the Mini lunch: pumpkin seeds that he packed and milk mixed with half and half, his “milkshake” since 10 months old (mixed with breast milk for a few months first). If he doesn’t eat it, I’m pretty sure that jack-o-lantern will! 🎃•

We all enjoyed a lot of tasty comfort food in the summer, right?? Well I absolutely did😋And as the vacation is finally over, most of us feel fresh and ready again for the next marathon waiting for us. 😈 A new meal plan usually accompanies this motivation. We have fed our soul enough with sweet summer vibes. 🌞🌞 Now it is time to feed our body with some healthy vibes! 🥗🍎🥕As my semester has just begun, I am absolutely ready for a refresh and am following my dear Lara 😉 So here is what I started with ➡️ A salad bowl with salad greens (I usually use rucola cause I love it) , broccoli, roasted pumpkin and pickled red cabbage (they sell this as "Rotkrautsalad" in Germany) with a light Joghurt dressing. 👌🏻 If you also feel in detox mood, don't forget to have especially broccoli and all kind of cabbage in your list, because they are two of the strongest detox food! You guys have to try this salad dressing! I just blended all these ingredients up in my blender and topped it over some spinach and chopped corn and tomatoes. I love using corn as a base to make salads and dressings. Also, corn combines really well with basil and lots of other spices. #rawfooducation

Salat mit gebackenen Kürbis , Zucchini und Möhren röllchen und Couscous mit Honig-Minze Dressing 🇩🇪⬇️

pumpkin incise, to rub with oil, 1 garlic into the pumpkin and put into the ofen -ca 40 min.
-in the meantime:
zucchini and carrots to cut and short blanching. put aside!
Couscous according to pack instructions.
All together dish.
Prepare sauce and make it over the pumpkin and food 👩🏻‍🍳👌 enjoy ! 🌱
Honey sauce
1/2 lemon  squeezed
2 tsp sugar
2 tsp honey
2 tsp water +-
2 tsp olive oil
1 mint leaf
Salt and pepper
Fresh herbs
All together mixed in the blender , finished!🎉🍋

In der Zwischenzeit :
Zucchini und Möhren schneiden und kurz blanchieren, beiseite legen.
Couscous nach Packungsanleitung zubereiten.
Alles anrichten. 
Dressing zubereiten und über das angerichtete essen geben , fertig 😋

When you're in a rush and have pre-chopped veggies in a tupperware so you boil 2 eggs, throw in a handful of pecans and call it a lunch! 🙊 ended up actually being really tasty and filling. I made my go-to salad dressing as well, recipe below!🌱
