Ever since I discovered Chicken Crust Pizza I've been obsessed and make it every week! There are alot of food "swaps" out there but this one is my favorite, so delicious and low carb.
1 lb. ground chicken
1/4 c. shredded mozzarella
1/4 c. Parmersan
1 tsp. garlic powder
1 tsp. Salt & Freshly ground black pepper
1 tsp. Parsley (Italian herbs)
1/2 c. Tomato basil pasta sauce
1 chicken sausage or pepperoni for toppings
Any additional veggie toppings
I've played around with the ingredients and have also found that adding an egg and 1/4 cup panko crumbs works too!
Preheat oven to 400º and line a baking sheet with parchment. In a large bowl, stir together ground chicken, mozzarella, parmesan and garlic powder, Italian seasoning and season with salt and pepper.
Spray prepared baking sheet and your hands with cooking spray. Form chicken mixture into pizza "crusts".Bake until chicken is cooked through and golden, 20 to 22 minutes.
Remove from oven and heat broiler. Spread a thin layer of sauce on pizza crusts and top with remaining cheese and any toppings.
