Squat variation of choice ended up being box squats. I was planning on doing front squats, but all the racks were occupied. I didn’t feel like waiting, so I went over to the BB shoulder press. First time doing box squats (225 lbs). Had to stack up some plates under my feet to make it work, but no excuses! #SundayFunday#SaturdaySweat

I used to associate exercise with anxiety. As an adult I avoided going to the gym because I had a fear of working out in front of people. I never felt comfortable at the gym. I'd get terrible anxiety and skip out of my workout early. My anxiety stemmed from my physcial apperance/ability. .
The reason why I am so passionate about helping others with their fitness journeys, is to provide a solution to those who don't want to go to the gym or the gym just isn't convenient for them. For me, I found myself and my confidence by starting my weight loss journey in my basement. I didn't have to worry about what other people thought of me because it was just me fighting through the workouts. I have lost 50lbs becasue of this. .
The physical transformation is nothing compared to the mental/emotional transformation. It has made me a strong enough person that I don't care what people think anymore. My journey is my own personal journey, and I have learned not to compare myself with other people. The fear of exercise is gone. My anxiety no longer concurs my workout. Your journey is YOUR journey, no one elses. Let no one take you off your path.

Saturday morning coffee is so blissful.... So blissful that the morning rolled right into noon before I got around to pressing play. ▶️ It melts my heart to see the ladies in my online fitness group getting up and going for it on Saturday morning!
