Hiç at eti tattınız mı? Tatmak ister miydiniz? ;) (EN) Have you ever tried horse meat? Prepared and eaten on special days only (weddings, funerals and anniversaries). The most delicious meal from horse meat is a sausage called 'chuchuk', which is made by putting fat taken from the barrel of the horse mixed with some meat into intestines cut equally into small parts.
Last night shattered my family with my big sister fighting for her life in emergency after getting a paralysis tick 💔 shes still in there cate and hopefully in the mend but for now mums giving me these horrid treats called Bravecto apparently they kill ticks but I'm thinking they will kill me..... .
Cheat's Homemade Sausage Roll
I find making my own pastry time consuming and pretty ‘hit-n-miss’. Pretty much all pastry also needs egg which doesn’t agree with me. Plus I’m all about whole foods where possible.
Enter my nifty invention - cheat's sausage roll - sausage rolled in carrot strips!
Simply peel a carrot, then use the peeler to make long and wide carrot ‘strips’. Line the strips up with the long sides touching so that they overlap by about 1/2 a cm.
De-skin a sausage (I love the PURE PORK certified free range from @backfatters ) form the meat into a roll and place the meat at one end of the carrot strips and ‘roll’ it up with the strips. Bake on 180 for 20mins and you're done!
I had mine with passata and assorted veg 👌
