Hope everyone has a solid weekend! Also, I really want to try film. Shoot one roll. See how I like it. If anyone has a film camera they want to let me borrow for a week and show me how to use it, I'll give you a big hug 😊😊
That one time we planned to watch meteor shower at the top of Crystal Mountain and only saw one meteor, few shooting stars, and this stunning sunset! And then waited for hours in the freezing cold in line to get down the mountain:/ #totallyworthitthough#woulddoitagain#crystalmountain

"I hate journalists. There is nothing in them but tittering jeering emptiness. They have all made what Dante calls the Great Refusal. The shallowest people on the ridge of the earth."
William butler Yeats (1865-1939)
Somethings are unchanging except names and bodies associated with them. I'm spending MUCH more time away from television, social media, etc. 🙃🤔 Everything is political. Talking heads earnestly decry all common sense and poignantly believe they matter or we care.
After an "accident" at the hairdressers (whom i loyally followed to two salons after the first), I have decided that a quick perusal to make sure that we haven't been destroyed is all that i care to give the news. I'm not discussing politics with anyone and yet it permeates our society and lives. MY HAIRDRESSER! Some things are sacred and those sits in a beauty salon should be rejuvenating; not painful. (Insincere apologies are not enough! One cannot burn a client after several years patronage. We agree on virtually every topic! Have done for years!) 💙🤔💜🌾🌻💙ONE THING matters to me; my family. I believe that everyone who reads this feels virtually the same with minor variations. When i talk to other women, we discuss children, (with exasperation and love) husbands/partners (with disbelief at their doings and love) or pets (they are so cute!)or how weather is effecting the other three.
💙💜💛💚it's time to shut down the NOISE, go out and get some Vitamin D!..
And luckily my daughter has an a political sweety for a hairdresser.💅👠👒💗
Pleasant thoughts and pleasant walks.
People often wonder how or why I’m a morning person, and I never really knew until just recently. It’s a choice. It can get difficult at times, but it’s always worth it.
For me, mornings serve as a time of absence. A time where it’s easier to subtract unnecessary parts of life and focus on specifics. Like the sound of coffee being poured into my mug or my fingers slipping through pages in my book. The specifics that give me joy that might otherwise get lost in the busyness of the day.
Hi there! I’ve been quietly working on a dream I’ve had since high school; to use art and creativity at work, while being my own #bosslady .
Well, it is with sweaty palms and a racing heart that I share with you the launch of Unbeaten Path Design - my very own creative studio, geared toward helping small business owners with their web/graphic design + content writing needs.
I can’t wait to see where this unbeaten path takes me, and thank you all for following along! (The link is in my bio, I’d love your feedback!)
This weekend I’ll be taking a trip out to our cabin in PA with the family and couldn’t be more excited. While Ohio can have it’s moments, it’s always exciting to get a change of scenery.
There’s nothing quite like the feeling of returning to a familiar place miles away from your home. All of the traditions and memories made throughout the years find themselves circulating back to you, as well as the feelings that they created along the way. Looking forward to creating even more!
