Story time! This property was on the market with two other agents prior to me for a total of 6 months. The homeowner said in those 6 months they only had 4 showings and heard nothing but empty promises from their agents. Jump forward to today and we just closed escrow on it. As with all properties that I sell the home was aggressively marketed and priced right (maybe a little high if I’m being honest). The home sold the first weekend we were on the market for exactly what the sellers wanted. Moral of the story… AGENTS, stop making lofty promises! Be real, be up front, and just be honest. It goes a long way… SELLERS, please interview more than one agent before signing a listing contract. Ask for references and actually call them! Selling your home is a huge deal and it could end up costing you thousands if you hire the wrong agent.

Pelvic Floor Strengthening Exercise: Lay on your back (you can prop yourself up at a 45 degree angle or lay flat on your back) and bring your knees up with your feet together and down flat on the bed or the ground. Put a resistance ring, if you have one, or a pillow between your knees.
Pelvic Floor - Front: Breathe in and as you are breathing out (make sure you don’t hold your breath and that keep slowly breathing in and out through the whole exercise) squeeze your knees together and hold, then hold your pee; really activating those pelvic floor muscles in the front. Hold for four seconds and release. Repeat that four times.
Pelvic Floor - Back: Breathe in and as you are breathing out (make sure you don’t hold your breath and that keep slowly breathing in and out through the whole exercise) squeeze your knees together and hold, then hold your poo; really activating those pelvic floor muscles in the back. Hold for four seconds and release. Repeat that four times.

The pelvic floor is off then the whole core is unstable and the diaphragm will usually clench up to try and compensate; making your breathing difficult and more shallow. This exercise only takes a couple of minutes and it is very effective at activating your core. It also helps to re-stabilize your balance, to keep your core strong

@strongblondeandfierce_lady doing rear-foot-elevated split squats for the first time ever. Even though I am generally not a huge fan of "unstable" movements, this particular drill has a nice side-benefit in that it provides a nice stretch for the rectus femoris muscle of the rear leg. •
A few tips for this exercise:
1️⃣ If balance is a concern, situate yourself inside of a squat rack so that you can hold onto and/or grab the vertical supports to help maintain your balance.
2️⃣ If available, use a soft plyo box to support the rear foot, as Amy is doing here. Rear foot comfort and support is a big issue with this exercise.
3️⃣ If you need additional load, use a pair of dumbbells as opposed to a bar on your back - this is not only safer, but with dumbbells, it's actually easier to maintain your balance since your combined center of gravity will be lower.
4️⃣ Initially, use a very manageable range of motion, and keep the reps low as well. As skill and confidence improves, begin to use greater range of motion, more repetitions per set, and more total load in the form of dumbbells.

Day 11: I gotta be honest, I wanted to caption this "Camelback Mountain" and act like everything went great, but I'm realistically gonna caption it "I barely made it up Camelback Mountain because I: - had to make a million rest stops on random rocks on the way up because I'm too outta shape - was climbing in the straight up desert heat - had some major swass occurring because of that - went through four bottles of water, might I mention they were piss warm - rolled my ankle ten times on the way down
BUUUUUUT WE MADE IT!!! & what an accomplishment it was! (plus I got pool privileges afterward so def countin mah blessins 🙏🏼)"
