"If you are not willing to learn, no one can help you. If you are DETERMINED to learn, no one can stop you." When you have those days/weeks/months/years that you suck at doing the steps to achieve your goals or creating healthier habits, you may find you're ready to quit or you're ready to start learning more.
The information is out there for you to find what you need to achieve your goals.
The best way to weed through the BS, puesdo-science, and vague claims is to learn how our bodies work; from the way we move to how our food is digested to the way we think. Then, apply what you've learned to see if it works for you.
You do not need to read a textbook or take an online course to find this information. There are many, many books, blogs, videos, etc. out there created by professionals that make this information easy to understand.
If you're still skeptical about what you find, read reviews or testimonials, check out their credentials, check out their resources (date & source) ,check out other authors within that subject to see if they echo or counter what you found, or cautiously follow their advice/plan/program and see what happens.

On the left I was eating LESS, more OBSESSED with food, working out HARDER, and measuring every little bit if food that entered my mouth like it was my job!!! 🙈
I was stressed about my weight. I hated my body. I wanted the fat suit off!! .
What did that lead to? Constant struggle. I'd lose some and gain it back. Constantly depriving and then binging. Feeling so trapped and out of control.
On the right I don't track what I eat, I barely weigh myself, I eat way more food and I feel awesome! .
What would you rather have?? .

We all have things we like about ourselves, but we don’t usually sit around telling one another right?
We’re socially programmed to react negatively when someone tells us things they’re good at or things they like about themselves; and because of this we shrink ourselves and our capacity to live a courageous, extraordinary and fulfilled life. .
Knowing our strengths is equally as important as owning them.
Some of us need to be shown how to properly access our strengths; others need to learn what it is they like about themselves; while others need to make peace with speaking their strengths aloud without fear of judgment.
I spent years wasted on focusing on my weaknesses, on the things I called ‘bad or wrong’, and all the things I didn’t like about myself - it was exhausting, debilitating and draining on myself and those around me.
I know I’m not alone. Focussing on our weaknesses and looking for “what have I done wrong now” is a fundamental design to who we are as human beings.
The good news: It’s easy to transform when you have the tools.
Getting clear about our strengths and what we like about ourself often starts with giving up all the concerns we have about it being embarrassing, arrogant, self-centred, narcissistic and self-indulgent.
Once we let go of all that, there’s enormous freedom - not only in letting our own strengths shine but in giving others permission to do the same.
If we are the sole authors of our lives. Then the secret to becoming and living the happiest, engaged, energized and joyful version we can absolutely be starts with one thing - RESPONSIBILITY.
Take responsibility for where you are and what you have, take responsibility for what you want and for what you need. From that place, we then choose what's next. Responsibility breeds power and creation. Everything just flows.

I pulled this card this morning and it feels so accurate. As our spiritual awareness increases, all the lower density, lower vibrations struggle to stay attached. It is this struggle to let them go that can plunge us into what feels very much like a dark night of the soul.
The way through?
Stay present, grounded and focussed on the goal. On how you want to feel.
That deep awareness will help you move through this time with more ease.
Your own personal spiritual practice will become more important than ever as it will help ground you in the present moment.
