Sometimes the best way to act, is to wait. When you've put in the long hours, the hard days, and the even longer nights there is a point where diminishing returns start to kick in. When you've given it your all, sometimes all you can do is ride the wave out and see what happens, while being ready to adapt and take charge whenever that wave breaks. Patience is key in life, especially when trying to build an empire, because nothing worth doing happens over night. Fall in love with the process, and patience will be natural. Results are the outcome of great patience. Stay Up! 🚀👆🔝
Start where you are, use what you have, do what you can & see great things in your life #putinthework

I’ve been floating between 149-151 for the last few months, and I’m currently about 10lbs away from where I feel the most comfortable. That may not seem like much, but aesthetically 10lbs of fat makes a pretty big difference.
There’s a few points I’d like to make:
1.) You should know that my nutrition is on point like 85% of the time. Most days, I hit my meals and don’t cheat, I strength train 5-6 times per week, and I do cardio like 3-4 days (excluding the last week of the #30forthekids of course.) The problem is that there are like 2-3 days a week that I will just not eat all day long, maybe I’ll have a Level-1 shake or two… and then I’ll come home and eat a big ass (not clean) meal, WITH wine. Great way to lose muscle and gain fat. I may be doing everything right most of the time, but 2-3 days per week is a full week at the end of the month, and that is enough to stall your progress completely. Even if you think “Well I’m eating a pizza now but I’m still under my calorie limit today,” that’s not how it works. Unfortunately. lol
2.) This was not difficult for me to post, so I don’t need the “but you look great right now!” comments. For the most part I’m good at being objective about my body, and honestly I consider the fact that I don’t hate it right now to be a bit of a problem; I don’t have an innate sense of urgency to lose these last 10lbs. “So why even try to lose any more weight?” Well, because I PREFER the way I look at 140 or even 135. Just because I don’t hate my body doesn’t mean I don’t want to improve on it.
3.) If you are someone who thinks, “I will be happy when I look the way I want to.” Please don’t do that to yourself. You can’t make your happiness dependent on the way you look. Will you be happier if you achieve your weight loss goal? Yeah absolutely, but the biggest reason will be because you feel better. Not to mention that the ONLY thing that gets you lean is practicing discipline. Discipline IS a skill you can sharpen, and once you DO… THAT improves every other area of your life: your relationships, your finances, your productivity… and THAT makes you happy.
If you aren't good at being yourself, what makes you think that you would be any good at becoming someone that you aren't? Always be the amazing and authentic person that you were destined to be.

Someone has faith in your talents and abilities.
In fact, they have a little too much!
What could possibly go wrong with someone believing in you?
Like, what’s the harm in that?! 🤔
Ummmmmmmm…you obviously didn't read the second post on the right of this one, now did ya?!?!
Get into the mindset that you are a winner. Approach everyday like it’s going to be your best day yet. Quit listening to your self talk and putting yourself down. Make it a habit to be a winner and you will come out on top. Never be ok with losing.

here is a fun, serious photo to slow things down and take it all a little less seriously. .
i am an absolute pro at going fast, zooming along and biting my tongue until i’ve made it to the finish. .
lately i’ve really start to explore a one hundred and eighty degree reframe of how to spend life. instead of sucking it up until we reach our goals, painfully ‘getting by’, isn’t winning figuring out how to enjoy the process? .
now i am not talking about any of that cliche bullshit - really hear me out here. i am talking about the best case scenario not being a trillionaire. the best case scenario is having access to activities that we enjoy and having the time to trade for these. .
it seems like slowing down really frees up the second part of that equation: more time to trade for what you enjoy. when you are able to be present and actually be aware of what’s happening to you, it’s much easier to enjoy everything. when you’re not present, you can’t enjoy anything. .
it’s the ultimate challenge for me - i call it ‘cultivating hyper-presence.’ i invite you to focus on this too. you will be surprised at what you find.
Year end peak.
I gotta say, I'm kind of happy with my results.
Unfortunately I forgot to get a video of my bench.. Didnt get to fit all my attempts in one video, failed on 325 squat and 355 deadlift.
Still pr 320 squat 205 bench 335 deadlift

Winning on the court, like winning in business, requires the sum of your team proving more powerful than any individual player.
Here is the Top 5 characteristics of the basketball-to-business leadership parallels that contributes to organizational success:
1. Share a consistent vision. It’s important, as a head coach, to have a vision and mission for your team. Successful businesses not only recognize the importance of a unified vision, but also understand how individual roles play into the overall delivery of it.
2. Foster open communication. Being an effective communicator means clearly speaking, but also requires strong nonverbal cues, written words and great listening skills. Praise players for the positives they bring to the team and challenge them in their areas of improvement.
3. Empower others. Assembling an effective team and empowering them to lead is key to enabling delegation. This allocation of authority establishes trust, instills incentive and makes delivering on commitments the objective focus instead of micromanagement.
4. Be unselfish. Winning on the court, like winning in business, requires the sum of your team proving more powerful than any individual player. In basketball, an assist can lead to a dunk. In business, an assist can lead to a sale.
5. Share the credit. All players count, and on any given day, someone can step up and deliver for the team.

You’re going to meet someone who invests in you and whole heartedly cares for you. Who is attentive to your needs and wants. Someone that is bold with their love towards you that you will never have to question how they feel about you. But first, you must be this person for yourself. You have to love who you are and what you stand for. Life isn’t about searching for your other half because you are not a half. Find someone that wants to see you win, supports your vision and celebrates who you are but most importantly be that person for yourself first 💖 #selfimprovement#selflove#selfmade#jokesnotabikie#happytuesdaypeeps 💁♀️
