Tomorrow, tomorrow! Come see this beautifully curated show, "Journeying" at Anne O Art in Shops Of Buckhead, Atlanta. The piece of mine on the right is a 48x60 mixed media piece titled "Coincidences." To me it symbolizes the various journeys and paths we take, intersecting with each other in seemingly accidental moments, sometimes joining paths, other times being pushed in new directions, and many times only recognizing the significance of such moments long after they've passed. The way I ended up having the wonderful opportunity to be a gallery artist at Anne O was quite serendipitous and frankly, this painting sums it up for me. Thrilled it was selected for this show, without Anne even knowing the meaning behind it. I guess the question really is, are there coincidences??? 🤔☺️#jessicabushart#coincidences
"Man tries to make for himself in the fashion that suits him best a simplified and intelligible picture of the world; he then tries to some extent to substitute this cosmos of his for the world of experience, and thus to overcome it. This is what the painter, the poet, the speculative philosopher, and the natural scientists do, each in his own fashion. Each makes this cosmos and its construction the pivot of his emotional life, in order to find in this way peace and security which he can not find in the narrow whirlpool of personal experience." #AlbertEinstein
Just listed this in my online shop!

My friend wrote a fantastic and profound book entitled "The summer when my mother had green eyes". It's written in Romanian but I'm more than sure it will be translated into other languages, it's that good! This drawing is drawn directly on the pages of the book especially for my friend, the writer. It's based on one of the scenes where the mother tells her teenage son she is dying with cancer, all happening in the field of sunflowers.
