I can't express the importance of writing stuff down! Such a simple but effective tool. Useful for many things but here I'll focus on exactly how to write out a plan of action to organise and complete your fitness goals.

➡Be specific: 
Know exactly what it is you want. Decide what it is you value the most! Specify in numbers what it is; a strength goal? A waist size? A bodyfat percentage? A time for a run? -
➡Make it measurable: 
Break this down into chunks. 
Divide this goal into manageable steps you can attain in different timeframes for each smaller goal leading up to the overall goal. -
➡Prioritise:
Focus will deliver you to your goal. If you are trying to get bigger biceps, why are you doing SO much chest? Or if you are trying to get better at a run, don't do SO much on the cycle! Tunnel vision!

➡Evaluate: 
Check your progress at regular intervals, review it I'd say around every 4 weeks to allow changes to be seen and checked on properly. -
➡Address: 
Address any obstacles that may hinder your progress, or any that DO hinder it, and decide how you can get around these obstacles! -
