The snow & wind helped me decide to stay home today. ❄ It has been a Sunday of learning and relaxing with @Elevationchurch online, @JamieIvey podcasts, @AmyPorterfield podcasts, a hat on my needles, Gratitude essential oil and a cup of butter coffee. Lots to be thankful for! 💜

🔆A statement that has resonated with me recently: you don't NEED everything figured out right now🔆
I have been struggling with wanting my life all figured out, NOW. I want my life at ease so I don't have to stress about the things that I have been dealing with since I was around 15 until now. It sounds a little selfish, but this has been my mindset for the past few years. Sometimes I feel like I need a LARGE dose of humbleness! 😂
I have definitely grown to be a better person since then, and I have learned so much, especially that there will always be room for improvements in my life because life isn't perfect (I'm a perfectionist and I like to have everything figured out🙄). But hey, when it came down to the end, I found out that trying to fit all of the pieces in the puzzle at once is not going to do much good for myself, and instead make me feel like 💩.
The detour in life isn't as bad as I had thought, and sometimes it isn't always what I'd hope for-and thats okay! If you ever feel like you need your life figured out, pronto, like me, allow yourself not to worry about what comes your way because it may actually be for the best. So take a step back, and breathe, let life happen as it happens and don't worry about figuring everything out now...we will all make it to that finish line in our own way, and we'll kick butt at it!💃🏁🙃 #thoughtsfromthebookoflyn#sharelove#sharepositivity#mexico#relax#livelife#love#stayrad
Let us rise up and be thankful, for if we didn’t learn a lot today, at least we learned a little, and if we didn’t learn a little, at least we didn’t get sick, and if we got sick, at least we didn’t die; so let us all be thankful.
When you worry you're telling God you don't believe in what he can do in your life. Instead of stressing and worrying have a conversation with God and ask him to step in and help. He said weapons will form... you know the rest! #itworks#mystory
Life isn’t about being wealthy, it isn’t about how many friends you have, the car you drive, the clothes you wear or a competition. It’s about being a genuine person, helping out where and when you can, it’s about doing your absolute best even if it’s subpar someone else. With that being said I am thankful for where the last few years have gotten me in my life and I look forward to making not only my 2018+ positive but everyone elses. New video up on the channel of how I am able to help someone who’s having car troubles out! Take your time @diabloformularacing she’s a good running car and again I was more excited about being able to help out then you probably are because well after all you’re now driving a Ford 😂 thank you @streetspeed717 for the ride #ford#Focus#chevy#gm#mandown#blessed#helpwhenyoucan#sharepositivity
Also, be thankful for the “bad” stuff - the stuff that challenges us the most, breaks our heart, has us stressed, worried, mad, and wondering if we’ll be ok- those things make us stronger. If you’re going through something crazy, just remember that time will pass and so will the craziness. Take a breath... focus on all the goood stuff- there’s a lot of it, all around you. You just have to look for it❤️
For me, 2016 was the hardest hard I ever thought I could go through. Our family experienced the kind of sadness that I wouldn’t wish on my worst enemy, but time passed and the sad stopped consuming things. Then 2017 was a whole different kind of hard. The fun/hard- Exploring a new place and failing a lot trying to figure out how to do life without all of the familiar things around us. I’ve learned that sad/bad/horrible things/hard things happen all the time, and no one is immune to it, but the same is true for good, and even great things. Once you shift your focus, the good will show itself wayyy more than the bad. Always.
