Things you should know about this meal ☝🏻 There's a baked sweet potato under there from my meal prep on Saturday. Just reheated it in oven for a few and bam. ✌🏻 I don't like salads, it feels restrictive to me mainly I think cause so many diets are like just eat 🥗 and I'm now about the diet life. BUT the topping is basically salad.
Sautéed kale, spinach, bell peppers, mushrooms, and asparagus in #coconutoil#dontbelievethehype#coconutoilislife . Seasoned with my #homemade taco seasoning. And heaped it on top of the potato.
The only things that could've made this better was cheese and maybe even an egg.
Otherwise a super simple, clean, nutritious #tuesdaynight meal!
Yep sometimes you just have to post it.... Everyday I hear excuses, I'm too old, I don't have time, it costs too much, I can never do that, I just don't have the discipline, blah blah blah

Day 12 #Whole30 I'm not gonna lie I felt a little bloated today for some reason and my workout (as hard as it was) wasn't the greatest.
But I'm still going and I still got that workout in.
Urgh not all days feel great but I just keep going 💜💪🏻
💯 Sometimes it feels like everything and everyone else is a priority and our own health and well-being takes a backseat. Make the decision (and grant yourself the permission) to make yourself a priority- it's not selfish, it's necessary.. Take a moment and think what's the one small thing you could do for a healthier you?
I saw my need, but I ignored it. I was given chances, but I didn't take them. I saw an opportunity but I listened to my excuses.
I'm SO glad this opportunity didn't pass me by. After one month of joining this company, I can confidently say that the best thing I ever did was believe in myself. So, it is official. The Loseke's are going plant-based 🌱 I have put a lot of thought into this recently, and had I qualified for Boston, I would have trained under a vegan diet, but after watching "What the Health?" on Netflix (which is unbelievable BTW), there was no more questioning. I prepare meals and snacks centered around fruits and vegetables anyway, so really all we will be changing is our main protein source. I am looking forward to seeing if my rosacea will improve, if the health of my kids gets better (we are always ill 🙄), and how my "meat n potatah's" Wyoming boy will fare. I know I will get some eye rolls, some giggles, and some "but why?" BUT, I know this will be a great choice for our overall health and lifestyle. I will post recipes (successes and failures 😂) and updates on our quest to be our best! Vegan and have some tips for me? Please share!
