sharing a little bit about my natural hair journey because it’s something i’m so proud of but rarely ever talk about. last November i said say la vie to my damaged and burnt out hair. then in the spring i decided to go even shorter completely cutting out any more dye|damage i had missed the first time. i had been dying my hair for so long i couldn’t even tell you what my real hair color looked like but now i can. what you see now is my natural color and curls. heat free for almost a year and while i sometimes miss my longer locks i’m definitely more of a wash and go kinda mama now 💁🏻 #Naturalista

People often ask me, "Aimee, how do you have time to do all this and your business?" It's really simple. I share with people what I love about my healthy products and how they help me and my friends. When someone is interested, I help them place an order. I have a team that I also mentor to do exactly the same thing. First attempt using cauliflower in a smoothie. ☝🏽Experiment turned out okay but I need to play around more with the ratios because it was a little too icy. I used frozen cauliflower rice, some unsweetened vanilla almond milk, frozen blueberries, pinch of stevia, @crazyrichardspb powdered PB packet and coconut oil. Topped with @driscollsberry raspberries, @gr8nola and @traderjoes roasted cocoa nibs. Excited to play around with other variations. I almost always use frozen bananas in my smoothies but love the idea of swapping cauliflower once in a while since it's lower in sugar but still adds a bit of creaminess, and it's so neutral that it doesn't affect the flavor! Have you tried cauliflower in smoothies?

Somehow it manages to be the craziest, busiest day of the week. Not only do I have to find the time to take care of ME (weights at 6am, a run at 12pm)...but it's also the day that I am in FULL ON mom mode, doing all the normal "Mom" stuff at home, AFTER working a full day, and then off to the fields and rinks to be the best cheerleader I know how to be, only to go home and edit photos until my body tells me rest is required (after ice cream, of course!)
That's a long day....and, there is NO coffee or energy drinks involved.
How?! What?! I know, right?! Sounds absolutely insane.
But...it's not. Because my daily 1,2,3...topped off with a black label gets me through my timeline starting at 6am and ending somewhere around midnight.
And the BEST part of it all...my smile is always present.
There is no more exhausted "Mombie" look on my face.
Because I'm a #thrivinmomma .
