Bahan2 utk lapisan sos:
Bawang holland @ bawang besar (1 biji)
Capsicum (optional, 1 biji)
Cendawan (sebab guna prego mushroom, so tak letak)
Garam dan gula secukup rasa
Bahan2 utk lapisan kentang:
Kentang size sederhana (7 biji)
Susu full cream (dalam 1/2 cawan, bergantung kepekatan)
Butter (3 sudu makan)
Garam secukup rasa
Cara2 membuat lapisan sos daging:
Potong dadu bawang dan tumis hingga naik bau. Masukkan daging kisar dan masak hingga kering sedikit air daging. Masukkan sos prego dan masak hingga pekat. Masukkan sosej dan cendawan. Akhir sekali masukkan capsicum dan masak sebentar. Perasakan dengan garam dan gula dan masak sebati.
Cara2 membuat lapisan kentang:
Rebus kentang sehingga empuk dan lenyekkan kentang bersama butter. Masukkan susu sedikit demi sedikit bergantung kepada kepekatan dan gaul sebati. Perasakan dengan lada sulah, lada hitam dan garam.
Cara2 membuat pie:
Lapiskan loyang atau bekas yg bersesuaian dengan lapisan sos daging. Kemudian lapiskan dengan lapisan kentang dan ratakan (lebih senang guna piping beg). Taburkan cheese dan daun parsley. Bakar pada suhu 170 darjah selama 15-20 minit atau sehingga cheese keperangan
The shepherds pie I made the other night was so good, decided to make it again topped with cauliflower herbed mashed potatoes with @fourthandheart ghee filled with carrots & green peas for a comforting dinner before heading to Maryland for Thanksgiving tomorrow. Happy Wednesday! 🍷
Fasted during the day and went out for a nice rainy ☔️ walk!! 😅Had company over for dinner tonight, so I made a shepherds pie (served with a big salad 🥗) which was a perfect dish for this occasion because one of the guests was a picky eater (liked mostly plain kind of foods) and I could prepare it well ahead ✌🏽✌🏽!!! When I told my guests it was cauliflower mash they where COMPLETELY surprised because they were convinced that it was potatoes 🥔!!! 😁 hehe!!! For dessert I made a healthy version of sticky toffee pudding... served it with a keto caramel sauce and a scoop of oppo ice cream.... That also went down reaaally well with my non-keto guests, they loved it!! Yeesss!!! So nice to be able to have a healthy dinner party 😍!!! Happy days!! 💕🎉🎀 .
Shepherds pie with sweet potato mash!
INGREDIENTS (serves 4)
1kg of sweet potatoes
1.5 tbsp vegan butter
1 can of lentils
2 large carrots chopped
200g green beans chopped
100g mushrooms chopped
1 tin of tomatoes in juice
1 veg stock cube
3 cloves of garlic
1 tsp ground arrowroot
2 tbsp nutritional yeast
Start by peeling and boiling your potatoes. Meanwhile heat some oil on a pan and add your garlic. After a couple of minutes add your lentils, carrots, mushrooms, corn, tomatoes and green beans. Cook on medium high for 5 minutes then add your stock cube and water. Summer for another 10 minutes until a lot of the liquid is absorbed then add your ground arrowroot. After mixture thickens pour into a baking dish. Your sweet potatoes should be cooked by now (stick a fork in them to check they are soft in the middle). Place the potatoes in a bowl and add your butter and use a masher or fork to mix and mash your potatoes. Spread your mash on top of your veg mixture and sprinkle your nutritional yeast on top. Bake in oven for 30 minutes on 180c.

Not gonna lie I went in for seconds after this photo and honestly I could have taken a third portion only Decs would’ve been left with very little dinner 🐷 it’s so tasty I add a wee bit of sweet chilli sauce to the gravy and also flavour the mince with garlic powder and paprika while browning. I used @mashdirect’s potato as it’s so handy and the perfect portion. Counting 3.5 syns just to be on the safe side #blondiesfestivefeat
