"Jesus said to her, 'I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die. Do you believe this?'" John 11: 25-26

There are quite a few new people here, so it's time for a #fridayintroductions !🎉 I am an Aussie mum and Minister's wife living in Alaska with my hubby and 2 adorable boys. My husband and I were missionaries for nearly five years in South East Asia. I despise small talk almost more than anything. You can easily be my #bff if you love coffee and intense deep & meaningfuls (and if you can out up with my extreme case of the TMIs!) 😂
These are a few of my favourite things:
The colour cobalt blue.
The scents of vanilla and freshly cut grass.
Earl Grey tea.
Ice Cream (hello halo top).
A really heartfelt compliment.
Burgers and fries.
Breath that fogs up in the cold.
Company that allows you to be comfortable saying everything and doing nothing.
Rain outside when I'm inside.
Sitting in cafés.
The crunch of ice under my boots.
A beautiful coffee mug.
A fresh deck of cards.
Where are you from and what are a few of your favourite things? 💫✨
S A B B A T H Greetings, all! I’m coming out of my fall *feed* sabbatical this weekend to update you on how the Soul Care Kit launch is coming along. Kits are still going out so if you haven’t received yours... it’s coming! I’ll have a YouTube tutorial out this weekend with tips on how you can get the most out of it. I have a few more images to share coming up. Thank you for all that have made this an amazing launch! #soulcarekit#unpacking#celebration
It's not always gonna be easy. It might rock you from the depth of your heart, and you might not recognize yourself. But that's okay. Cause you got my main man Jesus lovin' you more than you can even imagine. Take a step away from it for this weekend perhaps. Spend some time outside in the fall air, treat yourself to your favorite kind of coffee, like the fancy stuff from your local @cariboucoffee
You're gonna be scared, yes. But you know how the best way to get past it is? START. On Monday. Make a plan. Find an accountability partner, someone you trust, that you check in with every week or so. Dream big. Pretend you know what you're doing. Talk positive vibes.
Give me a "cheers" if you're with me! What are you drinking tonight?! I'm heading off to a meeting with my senior client (yay!), and then @jenmariepete and I are gonna sip down some Moscato @barefootwine -- happy #friyay my loves! ❤️
Are you living out your hopes and dreams?
The desires you have are going to take a lot of work. But remember that God's plan for you includes hope and strength. He is there every step of the way. #ThatApphiaLife
I spent today reflecting on my life. And while there are so many things I want that I don't have or that I wish were better, I realized how fortunate I am to be aligned with my God given purpose. This is more than "just a job" for me - this is my ministry. I am so blessed to be able to virtually hang out with successful women who are striving for greatness. For those of you who love spending your time with high achieving and ambitious women as much as I do, join me in the Career Success Circle! Let's pursue purpose together!
Making time to study anything can be challenging, especially in a season of raising young children. But the Bible is full of practical help and inspiration awaits when you make time to dive in and get to know the God who created you for amazing things. If you don't know where to start, find someone who's a few steps ahead of you and ask them to journey along with you.
Join me in this heart-filled interview with Jenn from the @practical_family podcast as we discuss simple tips for finding time to study the Word of God.
Comfy + Cozy on this sweet Friday afternoon. I have worship music playing, the windows open for fresh air and my pup next to me. Always remember to appreciate the little things that bring so much joy. ♡
What lies have been whispered into your heart, only to make their home their for years to come? Us? Well thanks to a stupid high school boyfriend, the words “Your Boring” still produce a life of performing for affection, while the gifts of others put a bullseye on our heart that the devil uses as target practice, asking, "Are you sure God made you enough?
But you know what? Those whispers may seem like they are protecting our hearts from getting hurt or keeping ourselves realistic about who we are, or even what we think we deserve, but they are really keeping us from resting in Jesus' heart for us. So our challenge to you— ask for your eyes to be open to the lies in your life and then confess the lie, out loud, on paper, but get it out and begin silencing it with the roar of your Father’s love.

Colossians 1:27 says that Christ IN YOU is the hope of glory. This is the power you have within. The power of the Holy Spirit— the gift from Jesus. ❤️ Paul said “It’s no longer I who lives but Christ in me.” This is true of you, too! The power of Christ gives you everything you need to run your business. It’s by Christ that you make business decisions and guide it where it needs to go. He strengthens you when you’re weak, guides you when you’re lost, and comforts you when you’re discouraged. 👍🏻 All we have to do is walk in this victory and knowledge with confidence. Easier said than done, but that’s when the power of the Holy Spirit within you takes over and helps you. Thank You Jesus! 🙌🏻 Team CWIB xx ☺️ P.S. Part of this power lives in the Word of God. What verse in the Bible spurs you on?
"I feel like that must have been one of those prayers where the Spirit intercedes with groanings too deep for words," my husband said after praying over a difficult trial on the horizon. We were still allowing the good news we received two days prior to sink in, and all of the sudden we were facing our biggest fear.
What is God doing? How am I supposed to feel? These questions, among many others, flooded my mind. And to be honest, I don't know what to do with a single one of them. As I write this, I am experiencing "all the feels" but in the opposite way...fear, heartbreak, confusion, and numbness. Yesterday, as I laid on the couch, I felt the calm, cool breeze usher in through the back door. Stillness all around me but chaos in my head. Yet, I felt peace as my mind rested on the truth that God is both good and sovereign. What do we do when we can't weed through our thoughts to find the root of our emotions? Or when our world feels so overwhelming that it's all we can do to simply hold on for dear life?
We cling to the Anchor. Jesus is our constant. He is our anchor. We can have peace in the unknown because of who He is: The Unchanging One. Everything in this life is uncertain and ever changing, but Jesus remains the same forever...and He will hold us fast.
"Christ the sure and steady anchor,
In the fury of the storm;
When the winds of doubt blow through me,
And my sails have all been torn.
In the suffering, in the sorrow,
When my sinking hopes are few;
I will hold fast to the anchor, It will never be removed."

I always find myself coming back to this quote when I feel like I’m rolling in the trenches and feeling all the feels.
Do you ever feel like you’ve finally “got it all figured it out” just to have Him steer you in a completely different direction? I can’t even tell you how many detours He’s had me on lately. And each time I try to go in the opposite direction, He reminds me that that’s not where He is pointing me. Sometimes I feel like I’m not really sure where He’s taking me but I’m trying so hard every day to just trust in Him; because His plans for me have got to be way bigger & better than the plans I think I have for myself.
You reap what you sow. Whatever is lacking in your life in order to receive it, you must first give it. So, if you need a friend, go be a friend. If you need money, first go help someone who has a greater need than you. God is an abundant God don’t be afraid to give freely, because whatever you give, you will receive it all back and more.
Bibleverse “Jesus said: Don't judge others, and God won't judge you. Don't be hard on others, and God won't be hard on you. Forgive others, and God will forgive you.”
Luke 6:37 CEVUK

Blessed UP for reallll with all the stunner friendships Jesus has given me. 😭♥️ Life is real good when you have friends like these. Friends who come by your side, who stick especially close to you at your weakest instead of running away, who fight for you, tell you the truth, and don’t let you settle for anything less than who you really are. These are just a couple of the many amazing friends I have and I count myself a rich girl because of them 🙌🏼😭
Also, Jesus has friends like this for YOU. Ask Him & He’ll send them your way. I went through many lonely years growing up when I had no friends and girls were MEAN. One day, I decided to pray for friends and a few weeks later, I landed some of the best friends ever. Ever since then, Jesus has brought more and more my way. He’s faithful to do it, y’all 💕.
Because I have to spend so much time on social media for my client work I have been intentionally looking for and positioning myself to find stories (totally drowns out the drama and negativity) and I have been so encouraged and inspired lately. Women sharing their health struggles, being vulnerable about hard topics like infidelity, sexual abuse, addictions and depression. And the part that touches my soul the most is to read the responses. Women commenting to share their own stories, women gratefully saying "thank you for sharing this so I know I am not alone". If there is one thing the world needs more of, it's for us to bravely show up for one another. Being vulnerable is not always easy but when we do not only does it contribute to our own healing but something even more beautiful happens, it creates a space for others to feel safe in sharing their own hardships and the world definitely needs more of that. I may be biased but I think women are the most powerful force to show up and lead that kind of movement 💕 #CreativeMomista
“Sometimes we wish to be so much like the girl to our left or our right that we try to erase any identifiers that makes us who we are, and that is one of the biggest things that comparison robs us of.”
Let us be a community of women who fights comparison together than compete with one another. Taking on comparison needs a group of young women who is not afraid to be real and owns their uniqueness loud and proud, and encourages their squad to be original and believe for the best in them.
After publishing the “Freedom From Comparison” article [link in bio], we believe that this is the perfect time to identify and embrace what makes us unique, and encourage others to do the same. So we are doing a #YourOwnYounique campaign for a week starting TODAY!!!
So here’s THREE things we need to do:
1. “What makes you ‘you?’”: Post a PHOTO of you and Name FIVE things that makes you who you are. It can be your strengths or anything that you love about you.
2. Tag FIVE of your beautiful squad girls. It’s their turn to see the beautiful things you love about them 👭👭👭
3. On your post, use the hashtags #YourOwnYounique and #theWIPmovement and let everybody know what we are standing together for!
If comparison can be infectious, so can we! So let’s start appreciating the real, unique, original you, and get tagging ❤️

We make things hard. It's true. We want to hold on to things that God tells us to let go of. A lot of times I feel no more mature than my 4 year old when I feel God telling me to let go of something... Anyone know what I mean?⠀
But when I want so badly to know and understnad God and KNOW with out any doubt what He has planned for me...it becomes so much easier to give up things (that to be honest don't really matter anyway) and to let God transform my mind.⠀
The more I am in the living word of God...the more I know what He wants for me. It's as simple as it says in Romans 12:1-2. And it's also as hard as that. What it comes down to is our hearts and our willingness to drop everything and follow Him. ⠀
Where are you on this journey?⠀
🎉🥂 It's FRI-YAY 🥂🎉 .

“Tear your hearts, not just your clothes, and return to the Lord your God. For he is gracious and compassionate, slow to anger, abounding in faithful love, and he relents from sending disaster.” —Joel 2:13.
I’ve never been good at memorizing scripture. And if I’m being honest, I’ve never really tired that hard. It wasn’t that important to me (ouch, that stung to type out.) But lately it’s been on my heart so much, like the Father whispering to me to meditate on Him and His Word that He made just for me, reminding me how much he loves being with me.
As I’ve been meditating on this scripture and trying to memorize it, it’s really challenged me to look deeper into the words that I’m trying to commit to memory and it’s allowed me to let the Holy Spirit reveal more and more to me as I say those words it in my head or out loud throughout the day. They’re more than just words on a page, it’s truly a love letter from God and they come alive every time i think about them.
And I don’t even need to read them now because they’re in my head and in my heart for me to recall whenever I need them. Such a treasure to have His Word with me always. #shereadstruth
There are times when I think my heart will explode with gratitude. There are also times when I feel like I'm going to loose my mind in this parenting thing! .
One thing is for certain... these kids make my day a brighter one every single day. .
You may know them but I wanted to take a few minute to tell you a bit about them for those who don't! Cause if you don't know them you really need to😉
My oldest (18) is one of a kind. Loves to make us laugh, he's a creative to the core and has such an eye for art and photography. And He's a computer genius! For as long as I can remember he's had us laughing and always brings joy to our lives. Take for instance his video below in the movies alone. 😂😂😂😂 .
My amazingly beautiful daughter (14), inside and out, loves to play the guitar and serenade us daily with her beautiful voice. I cherish the moments I can hear her singing from her room. She is so so special to us and we are thankful the Lord entrusted her to us! ❤️
Caleb (5) is something serious. He loves his Bobo (brother) and wants to be just like him. He also keeps us laughing and says the funniest things. He can make a friend with anyone and makes people feel included and loved. .
Blessed is an understatement!
Have you ever heard that praise becomes before the victory?? The battle is not yours — it’s God’s!! There are so many examples of this in the Bible — Paul & Silas in prison chains, singing & shouting praise to God before they were miraculously freed; and countless stories about God fighting for his people in the Old Testament. Check this one out in 2 Chronicles 20 (read the whole chapter if you can today — it’s incredible): “After consulting the people, Jehoshaphat appointed men to sing to the LORD and to praise him for the splendor of his holiness as they went out at the head of the army, saying: “‘Give thanks to the LORD, for his love endures forever.’ As they began to sing and praise, the LORD set ambushes against the men of Ammon and Moab and Mount Seir who were invading Judah, and they were defeated.” 2 Chronicles 20:21-22 🙌 All of these stories have a common thread — these friends were in trouble, or had no hope, but they prayed and chose to BELIEVE God would fight for them — that he would rescue them. And so BEFORE they even tasted that victory or truth, they praised God with everything in them because they could already see it in their heart. They knew God would save them. ✔️ So praise Him today with true joy, as if your answer is already here and just watch Him flood your life with a miracle!! ✨🙌🎉 Tag someone who needs reminded of this today!!!
On the 28th of October, we will be Commemorating 50 Years since the 1967 Abortion Act, remembering the 8.8 million lives that were lost because of it and standing with those who have been impacted by it.
Below, Rose is bravely sharing her testimony on how abortion has affected her life. This story is one of many on how our current laws on abortion are negatively affecting women.

| FINDINGS ON FRIDAY
It’s been a busy last few weeks. About two months ago I started my new job at the hospital and it’s been an adjustment. My hours are insane, inconsistent, and I’m required to bounce around to different facilities.
• for I will satisfy the weary soul and every languishing soul I will replenish | Jeremiah 31:25 •
I am finite and limited.
I can grow weak.
I need rest.
I need God’s strength.
Matthew 11:28-29 Christ calls us to Himself, to lay down our burdens, and that we will find rest in Him.
In Mark 2:27 Jesus states that the Sabbath was made for man and we know from Genesis 2:2-3 that God demonstrated for Adam how to rest at the end of the labor week.
Hebrews 4:9-11 reminds us to rest in God, to follow His example, and that if we disobey and refuse to rest, we will fall.
Take time to rest. Remember that it was designed for us as God knew the importance of it.
Bring your burdens and weights to His feet, take His yoke, learn from Him, and be still. Let Him refresh you with His strength and fill you up.
This kit of oils 👌
For the times that the whole entire world is sharing cooties or the trees are shedding. Or when you're so tired that you're cross-eyed. Oh, those times that you ate too many Reeses Pieces, too. For that mega crater that popped up on your face 10 minutes before a big meeting. And, for that one time that you burnt dinner and the house smelled like the bottom of the ocean.
Yep, all of these times. Boom. Have I mentioned that you need these oils, yet?
My dear one, here we are, beginning again. I know you can feel lost, broken, distracted, weary, and downcast. I know you can feel overwhelmed and lonely and confused about the next step. There always feels like a next step, right? There always feels like there is another thing to do, another obligation to fulfill, another task to complete.⠀
I know you hear words about trusting Me and resting with Me and surrendering to Me and looking to Me. I tell you these things, I know.⠀
I know you wonder how to do that and even if you are capable. Habits are familiar. Routines feel safe. Starting from scratch? Abandoning all you know and believed before about how to do things well, successfully? That feels radical, uncomfortable, risky.⠀
I feel risky.⠀
Losing your life to gain Me feels the riskiest of all.⠀

A SPECIAL AFTERNOON WORKSHOP SESSION WILL BE HELD AT JOSIAH CENTER FOR JUSTICE AWAKENING WATCHMEN
The voice of your watchmen—they lift up their voice; together they sing... Isaiah 52:8
"God is always concerned with our heart than our sacrifices, and He shows that throughout the Sermon on the Mount. Christ gave us commands and practices to connect with us, not to put us under another law. Whatever works you are doing for the Lord, make Him your audience of one. And “your father who sees in secret will reward you.” #shereadstruth#sermononthemount
You know what I'm thankful for today? A Lord who is compassionate and gracious, slow to anger, and abounding in steadfast love (Psalm 103:8). When I feel gross, and ashamed, and unworthy, the Lord allows me to still step into his presence. He forgives me. He lavishes his love on me. His mercy and grace abounds. Could not be more thankful. What are you thankful for today?

When you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.
Lately it’s been easy for me to get caught up in everything going on in my life that’s hard. Anyone else ever do this?! But yesterday I was reminded to not let my happiness be contingent on the want for resolve in these hard situations. I’m learning to fight the worry or thought that the present is worse than it really is. I’m intentionally focusing on being present throughout the day & finding God’s beauty in the small and mundane moments.
I went for a run and found this little spot. And in this moment, I wasn’t worried about anything and it actually made my entire day 🍁🍂
