To think that it was love and not nails that kept Jesus hanging on the cross. To think how He was mocked, falsely accused, and rejected by all. He was blindfolded and punched, slapped and spat on, tied down and profusely pierced with leather whips, destroying his flesh. A was robe thrown across His shoulders to humiliate Him while a crown of thorns was drove into His head. After hardly having the strength to bear His cross, then came the crucifixion. Metal spikes were then driven into His hands and feet, where His entire body was suspended for torment. The Lord Jesus suffered so much pain and agony that He didn’t even resemble a human.
To think that He did it all for me. To think that through every feeling of heartache and disappointment, every single beating and unbearable strike of pain, every single gasp of air He longed for while hanging from the cross until he gave up the ghost and softly said, “It is finished” was all for me. To think that He had the power to take himself down from the cross and walk away from all suffering. But He didn’t. He endured it all because He wanted to show me how much He loves me. So I could be forever set free and forgiven of all sin. So I could be given the chance to live an eternal life. To think Jesus Christ paid it all, paid everything for my sins, my unworthiness, and my shame when I deserved nothing. To think that He laid down His life for me knowing there was a chance I might never love Him back. That there was a chance that I might reject Him and deny Him, that I would without a doubt disappoint Him and fail Him - my heart will never be able to fully comprehend it. But forever I will praise the One who paid my sin debt and raised this life up from the dead. Forever I will be thankful that He first loved me. Forever I will be grateful that He looked up and saw me as He was hanging from the cross. That He saw me and thought that it was worth it all for me. Because of this I will forever lift up His precious name. Because by His stripes, I am healed.
“Wait for someone who could be the moon for you. Just as strong, just as steady, illuminating changes and seas and blooming flowers and winter nights. They’d wait for you in the dark. They’d dance around the sun. They’d receive your secrets, your dreams and shifting tides. Wait for the moon. What for nothing less than what steals your breath, what breaks you open, what lures your soul, what helps you rise.” - Victoria Erickson
Our ceremony was coming to a close as I looked over @peterbradyhouse’s shoulder to see the full moon rising directly behind us. There is so much magic in this life. ✨ 📸Incredible photo by @heydoza #wereabradyhousehouse#kauai#kauaielopement#fullmoon

Who still hasn’t done any Christmas shopping? 🙋🏻🤦🏻♀️
Christmas gifts are bought, wrapped up and under the tree. It’s a sunny Sunday, I’m making traditional Danish rice pudding that’s about to go into my bed where the heat from the duvet will slowly finish the cooking. We’ll have it for lunch sprinkled with cinnamon and served with red berry juice. I think it’s actually beginning to feel like Christmas.
Photo from yesterday’s shopping and the best photobomber I’ve had in a long time.
for some reason, this is my favorite place in my favorite city, you can see its colors popping out even from a black and white photograph.
maybe it's the short buildings packed with History or the diversified faces from all walks of life, but it has a charm and a magical ambiance to it that makes you feel at home.
Also, finding a parking spot is an impossible mission here but it pushes you to wander and get lost before finding your right spot a couple of miles away from where you're headed... but walking never did any harm to anyone... especially not in these streets that are so full of stories and life.
Rabat, 2017 💞
Nice. Note: pic from a few days ago. He hasn’t been eating blue sweets this early in the morning.
:: AND THATS A WRAP ::
Yesterday was the last working day for @bobtale_photography and we went out with a bang! What a wonderful way to end an amazing year. I cannot begin to thank my brides and grooms for being awesome. I am so lucky to have photographed so many beautiful special days! Thank you to all the incredible suppliers I’ve been fortunate to work with too! Here’s to 2018 - I hope you are equally as lovely xx
I get weather alerts on my phone and it just showed me a wind warning for Waterton (My baby likes to hang out with me at 2 am 🤷🏼♀️). I think there was probably a wind warning in effect when we took this photo! These two make it look like they are just out for a warm romantic stroll on the beach though! #professionalmodels ;) #naturals#couplesinlove . Also, there is still time to enter the giveaway for a free session! It’s the photo collage image a few posts back, after the red roses. :) I love hearing everyone’s favourite Christmas traditions! And for free massages for a year, check out my last post!
Potty training is going great. Thanks for asking. 😂
