Today marks week 2 day 3 of the fitmas challenge!
The plan called for either taking a rest day or working on abs!
When I woke up this morning I thought I would take the rest day, because I had an exam early and work this evening, but when I got home I was in the mood to go do some hiit! I played around with a few different core exercises but these ones are my absolute favs!
For hiit I did about 15 minutes on the elliptical (30 second on and 20 seconds off!) Happy #workoutwednesday ❤️💪🏼
When some wild-eyed, eight-foot-tall maniac grabs your neck, taps the back of your favorite head up against the barroom wall, looks you crooked in the eye, and asks you if you paid your dues; you just stare that big sucker right back in the eye, and you remember what ol' Jack Burton always says at a time like that: "Have you paid your dues, Jack? Yes sir, the check is in the mail."
Consistency. Good choices is the name of the game. I find this true in anything. This morning started off with some water, oatmeal with blackberries and strawberries. *
I hit the gym right after working on biceps , triceps, shoulders and traps. Im excited to get back into reaching my health goals. While learning to enjoy the journey.
Bit different today. Doing a power session along with some shoulder work. Not a body building session today. Focused more on functional strength and power exercises.
Log press into power hang cleans
Strict log press into kb snatches
Dumbbell press into box jumps
Lat raises into heavy rope slams
A lot of pressing but really enjoyed it. 85kg log for 4 which I need/want to work on and 90kg cleans which felt pretty easy. Enjoy mixing it up and looking at performance as well.
The change is becoming reality. They said I needed to grow my upper body, well here you go. I can’t even start to believe how far I have come! Progress is always the key to success. If you really want something don’t stop until you destroy the hurdle. Only positive thoughts for today. My body gets tired, I get down, I get depressed, and I get depleted.
