I feel like sometimes we (myself included) think that we have to spend hours in the gym in order to have a good workout. I could easily spend a few hours in the gym and not be mad about it, but sometimes it's just not necessary! Today I was pushed for time and I managed to have the best shoulder workout I've had in a while in about 35-40 minutes. You just have to stay focused and push yourself! Hours in the gym doesn't always mean you will get the most results.

So.. I never thought I would be saying this but I think shoulders is replacing abs as my second favourite body part to workout 😳
Playing around with starting points, Range of motion and grip today, left my shoulders absolutely burning.
(4x20 reps each exercise)
-Upright row into shoulder press
-Around the worlds (all the way behind your back)
-Rotated cuff abductors
-Arnolds
-Dumbbell flies (from behind the back)

Maybe it’s the endorphins from lifting heavy or just being in the gym environment that makes me happy after a long day. But I’m leaving the gym today with such a positive mindset and outlook on the days ahead. I can easily find the negative in things, but that’s changing a lot recently and it feels so good. Wake up, count your blessings and make everyday amazing. ✨
