It’s a beautiful day to be alive. The past few weeks have been a whirlwind of emotions, it’s been crazy busy and the 1 thing that keeps me grounded is taking time for myself. My favorite place to do just that is in the gym. Training because I love it and I need it for my physical and mental health

I feel like sometimes we (myself included) think that we have to spend hours in the gym in order to have a good workout. I could easily spend a few hours in the gym and not be mad about it, but sometimes it's just not necessary! Today I was pushed for time and I managed to have the best shoulder workout I've had in a while in about 35-40 minutes. You just have to stay focused and push yourself! Hours in the gym doesn't always mean you will get the most results.
You CAN find time to get good workouts in even if you are busy. It's all about making time for what's important to you. 💛
Shoulder stability, mobility and a great warmup before any upper body work! 🙌🏽 Add some dumbbells and you have a solid finisher!
2x15 reps each exercise
The burn is a lot more intense than you’d suspect. 😅
Healthy Shoulders= Happy Shoulders= more productive workouts. 👌🏽

SHOULDAAAA CIRCUIT ⭐️💪🏼🎥
i did this circuit at the end of my shoulder / arm day this week and LOVEEEED it. TRX bands have slowly become a favorite of mine to add into upper body days. SWIPE ➡️ and do these 4 exercises with no rest in between; 3-4 sets x 10 reps each and let me know how ya feel the next day 😈

video 3- TRX bicep curls // TRX tricep extensions

We werkin the shoulder boulders fam! Legit, this workout murdered my arms but oh em geee it was much needed #shouldersonfire 🔥.
1️⃣15 smith machine shoulder press
2️⃣12 db seated front raise
3️⃣ 12 rear delt flys
4️⃣ 10 db lateral raises (ok this one is tough. You can’t really see it in the vid but i am lifting the weights into a lateral raise, letting go of them to catch them, and bringing them back down! This is KILLA! Got the idea from my babe @whitneyysimmons plz go watch her YT’s she is amaze 😍, thanks whit💕). .

SLOW PROGRESS IS BETTER THAN NO PROGRESS👊 it’s safe to say 2017 hasn’t been my year. There’s something about training back & shoulder’s that puts me in an amazing mood 🤷🏾♀️ .
Maybe it’s the endorphins from lifting heavy or just being in the gym environment that makes me happy after a long day. But I’m leaving the gym today with such a positive mindset and outlook on the days ahead. I can easily find the negative in things, but that’s changing a lot recently and it feels so good. Wake up, count your blessings and make everyday amazing. ✨
