Take us back to the @sofasoundsla & @amnestyusa #GiveaHome show ✨Honored to have been a part of it! Big thanks to @agatemusic @sofasoundsla @amnesty and everyone that came out, donated, spread the word & shared the good vibes!!
It's world gratitude day. In a time when so many people are suffering I am grateful for everything I have. And feeling moved to share what I have with those in need. I hope you and your families are safe and well. #gratitude#kindnessmatters#helpothers
I came in this morning to open the Shoppe and I found this by the front door. A customer, who is becoming a repeat offender :-), liked a little shelf we had but not the color. I had some spare paint and told her to bring back whatever was left... she could have left just the paint can or she could have just kept it but she instead took the time to show kindness and gratitude!! #Mimischest#DelrayBeach#ShowKindness
Ironically this pic was the very 1st post I did when I joined @instagram in January 2016. I wanted to post it again after I read about bullying of others on instagram. What the heck?? So many of us are on a journey of self acceptance, self love and just want to be happy in our skin, help others, make a difference no matter how small. We express thoughts feelings ideas and some fun stuff too. Life can be hard enough without people judging or bullying you. We should be uplifting and encouraging each other. Not putting others down. STOP THE BULLYING!! Show some decency. STOP JUDGING!! We came into this world only knowing love, people have developed hate, resentment & unkindness - we should all teach those to feel love and caring again. Let's stand together and not accept this anymore. PS @candibod I think you're great!!! #stopbullying#stopharrassment#showkindness#Uplift#encourageothers#Bekind#journeyBackToKindness#care#inspire#BeFriendly#motivation
I'm working on my attitude and starting off the day with positive vibes. Being in the middle of messiness has been making me tired and irritable. So, starting today, this mama plans on changing her attitude! Happy Wednesday, friends 💛
I can't even tell you how many times we've gone to stater bros. to buy this chicken in the last four months! A million times it feels like... Four months of eating at every fast food place there possibly is, for breakfast, lunch and dinner. 🤢 Having no kitchen for 4 months is a little brutal. By no means am I an amazing cook, but you kinda get sick of eating out 24/7. Don't get me wrong, in the beginning I was excited to not have to cook or do dishes or clean up the mess after dinner. Sounds amazing right?!? That feeling faded quickly. Haha
Tonight, I was just thinking what the workers at these fast food places thought, seeing me day in and day out. Did they even notice I was JUST there yesterday? Did they wonder why I was constantly eating there? Did they think I was a bad mother for never cooking for my kids?
And tonight, it just made me realize, you honestly never know what anyone is going through. But yet, people still judge. So, next time you judge someone... just don't. 🤗💜

I can't tell you how many times I have heard a quote or speech like this, but unlike most topics I am always challenged by it. I am challenged to look at how I am living and see if there is something I can change. And I'll tell you the truth, there always is. Every. Single. Time. Sometimes that frustrates me, how can it be that I am constantly reminded that I can change but I still can't get it right. Honestly, it used to tear me down, not encourage me. If this is you, please listen to what I am learning, maybe it will be easier for you than it was for me. I don't remember exactly when but eventually the fact that I wasn't perfect didn't hurt me but it comforted me. Don't get me wrong, I still struggle with the desire to be perfect, constantly. But at least now I can remember this when I feel discouraged:
-I am valued
-I am not expected to be perfect
-my worth does not come from my perfection
Remember we can always love and serve others better, but it's important to remember the value of who we already are.
Really looking forward to playing tomorrow's secret #GiveaHome show in L.A. for @sofarsounds + @amnesty! As @wearedala, we're joining hundreds of other musicians tomorrow in solidarity of refugees all around the globe 🌎 Check out both @boogiemonsta & my videos about what you can do to get involved (link in bio).
What do your walls say?
Do you agree placing little reminders around your office and home helps keep the culture positive?
It's not easy these day to remind yourself, never mind your kids that kindness still counts and it always will in my book.
Say nothing or be kind, period.
I tell it to clients, my family and whoever else will listen.
Purge and vent all your gross thoughts only for the purpose of getting them out of your head but let your actions be kind.
Mean people hate kindness, it makes them uncomfortable so always be kind or at least civil and respectful.
I would love to see the inspiration you surround yourself and family with in your home.
Feel free to comment with the words of wisdom you display everyday.
💕Way back at the start of the Summer holidays, we started a kindness jar to encourage my children to be kind over the summer - I'm happy to report it did get filled before the end of the holidays (somebody managed to sneak a caterpillar sticker in there too 🐛!)! I did have to keep reminding them about it, but now it's filled and they've had their reward, they are determined to fill it again...✨It's not going to stop the bickering - that's just a part of sibling life - but I like the way it encourages those moments of kindness and empathy that children do have.💕 #kindkids#encouragekindness
Thinking about gratitude and paying it forward, while reading an article by Adam Grant. In response to someone's 'thank you,' he suggests instead of the usual 'you're welcome' try saying
"I know you’ll do the same for someone else."
Encouraging them to pay forward the favor and kindness that you showed. 😊
