You're looking at the first vehicle to be fully designed, developed and manufactured in India. The Tata Sierra, also known as TelcoSport depending on which part of the world you're in. It came with a 2.0L Naturally Aspirated engine, and later with a turbo. Coupled with a 5-Speed manual, it actually did pretty good off the tarmac after small tweaks. What's interesting is the three door layout and that amazing rear window-roof panel, which was, and still is rather unusual on Indian roads. Production started in 1991 and ended in 2000. It's sad that this interesting vehicle barely has any images on the Internet.
“Your attitude is like a box of crayons that color your world. Constantly color your picture gray, and your picture will always be bleak. Try adding some bright colors to the picture by including humor, and your picture begins to lighten up.” - Allen Klein
