Woooow guys I thought I had heard it all until last night when mom asked dad "if sienna were a potato chip what flavor would she be? If sienna were a store what store would she be? if sienna had a job where would it be?" It all ended when mom asked dad "how many individual strands of hair do you think are on sienna?" He said 500,000 mom was like nooooo way it's definitely less than that and they went on and on about why they thought they were right 🙄 #sigh
So this week, I started reading Joyce Meyer's book, "The Power of Simple Prayer". Y'all, I've only gone a few pages into the book and my prayer life has shifted. I pray more confident prayers now, I'm more conscious of God's presence in my life (literally) more than ever before. I can't wait to see how much I'll evolve after finishing the book. I couldn't have asked for a better way to end the year 2017.
Enough said, I bookmarked this line in the book because it resonated well. Y'all must have thought at some point, when going through hurt, that not being able to say anything even though your heart really wanted to communicate with God meant that you hadn't prayed.
Well, here's freedom: Romans 8:27 (AMP) - And He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because the Spirit intercedes [before God] on behalf of [a]God’s people in accordance with God’s will.
OMG! I just checked The Message version and I just love how it puts it. This is so apt. It says, "Meanwhile, the moment we get tired in the waiting, God’s Spirit is right alongside helping us along. If we don’t know how or what to pray, it doesn’t matter. He does our praying in and for us, making prayer out of our wordless sighs, our aching groans." Oh, this is freedom! Take it! Take it! Take it!

Shit makes me angry...and very sad. Both Genders are STILL held to dumbass standards that strip away our basic needs as human beings..takes away from the possibility of connectivity between people. #sigh#bigchangesahead#feelyourfuckingfeelings
