The difference. • • •
Between making it count and going through the motions.
1. Plan of action
Never go to the gym and fumble about looking for exercises that you think will produce the desired result. This is why the majority of guys do a lot of bench press early in their training career and a lot of girls jump straight to the treadmill. Have a proper and balanced plan for each session.
2. Selecting the correct weight
If you can hold a comfortable conversation, you need to crank up the heat. If you can barely breathe or perform the exercise properly, you should tone it down! A good indicator is being able to perform your planned sets and reps, but by the last rep its a fight.
3. Blocking out distraction
It may seem rude but ignore that person talking to you if you are performing an exercise. Ignore that shit music. Block out the distraction because you owe it to yourself! -
4. 'Feeling' the exercise
If you're doing an exercise but unsure of which area it is targeting, realise which joints are moving, in which direction, and which muscles are involved in said movement, and try your hardest to milk the effort from them with contraction.
5. Driving through
If you're having a bad day, week, month, etc remember that you can still take a small win with your workout. Remember its a privilege, not a chore!
Thats the difference.
46 anni.. "pieghe" di vita.. Mi sono perso.. mi sono preso in braccio e ritrovato.. Ho sorriso molto.. Ho pianto a fiumi.. Ho parlato tanto senza dire una parola.. Ci sono stati baci da togliere il respiro..Ho amato e sono stato amato.. Eh.. domani è un altro giorno.. sempre.. #love#eyes#signs#years#instamood#thoughts #
It’s very easy to be quite passive in the way that we think about God answering our prayers. It’s almost as if we have a list of our prayers and then we tick them off when God has done his bit! Instead, bring your need to God now and then watch in expectation for the first signs of his response. #answeredprayer#watchinexpectation#signs#listofprayers
