Take care of your Sterling Silver Jewelry! DIY to remove the tarnish coloration and make it look NEW again!
"Line the bottom of a bowl with aluminum foil, generously pour regular table salt on the bottom on the foil and lay your jewelry on top of that, fill the bowl with boiling hot water.
Leave it sitting for a little bit, sometimes you can even watch the coloration disappear while it's laying there!
To get the extra shine, rub the piece with a clean cotton rag!" --Mia (goldsmith Formia Design) #silvercleaning#tarnish#cleanjewelry#jewelrycare#diyjewelrycleaning#diy#jewelrytip#silver#silverpolish
DIY silver polish...non-toxic and actually works!
In a small bowl combine:
1 Tbsp Baking Soda
1/2 capful of Thieves Household Cleaner
Pitch of salt
I apply the mixture to the silver item and using a microfiber cloth I buff the silver piece to clean "newness". Easy and safe...doesn't get much better than that.
