This beautiful, wild nettle yarn and the simple and shy Japanese silk yarn was definitely meant to be together !
I had made this olive branch some days ago and I was waiting the right fibers to jump on it and there they are. Living together in harmony and already waiting in my shop for their new home.

Also, I must say that the studio light is making my life easier and I love it!
I posted this earlier with some lame meaningless caption. But I’m reposting it now with some real feelings. This one is for all of you craving some REAL in your Instagram feed, because I know a lot of you are. I’ve been feeling super overwhelmed lately. Trying to keep up with being a working/blogging mama of three & still make time for my husband, friends, family, working out, hobbies and trying to keep the house clean has had me feeling like a failure lately! I’ve been putting a lot of pressure on myself lately and I know a lot of us do this (mamas especially). Who else can relate?! I’m giving myself permission to just do the best I can and see success in the little things. It’s impossible to do it all and have it all together - as much as Instagram leads us to believe that we can. All we can do is try our hardest, always be kind and love hard. 💕 #instatruth#keepingitreal#balanceshmalance#lifeofamom
I consider cultivating home an essential part of self-care. Home, to me, is a place I feel safe and comfortable. Somewhere I can kick my socks off and curl up in bed with a film or have private conversations with my loved ones. 💛🌿
I made a post a little while back about winter blues getting to me, which is why I was so thrilled when I recieved a an essential oil reed diffuser from @wildplanetaromatherapy called "Mood Boost". I'm not quite sure what I was expecting, but the strong citrus and botanical scent that overcame me (and now fills my room!) when I opened it made me immediately think of rainy mornings back home in Singapore. I'm in love.
PS: They're anti-animal testing, use 100% pure, natural essential oils, and use recycled materials (that can still be further recycled!) for their packaging. Go give them some love! #gifted
“The one who first created a musical instrument, and who gave to harmony its rules and its laws, had for a long time listened to the murmuring of reeds and the singing of birds. Poets represent love as sculptors design beauty, as musicians create melody; that is to say, endowed with an exquisite organisation, they gather up with discerning ardour the purest elements of life, the most beautiful lines of matter, and the most harmonious voices of nature. There lived, it is said, at Athens a great number of beautiful girls; Praxiteles drew them all one after another; then from these diverse types of beauty, each one of which had something imperfect, he formed a single faultless beauty and thus created Venus.” —Alfred de Musset, (La Confession d'un Enfant du Siècle)
