Dinner: giant prawns baked with garlic, lemon zest, chilli and parsley garlic - these were a dream; baked cho-cho and plantain served with salsa and rice with beans. Would def have this diner again! How else do you like eating plantain?
I was freaking out with excitement when I opened this flag on Christmas Day!! I’m so proud to support a pretty rad dude who hand makes these in Montana, on the very lake I spent my summers on as a kid!!! Also, he donates 5% of each flag sold to the National Park Foundation! Win-Win!!! 🏔⛺️🛶 @bcburnings
One month ago I became the wife to the kindest and most patient man. With each day that passes, I am more sure that I was made to be his wife. So grateful for the gift of marriage! Looking forward to a lifetime of being yours @coleclaybourn ❤️
What’s up loves!!! if you haven’t heard - I’m doing a 52 Weeks of Cinemagraphs project over on @meaganmakesgifs 😍 We’re currently on week 4, where I attempted a self portrait cinemagraph - and I don’t hate it for once, (we all know we’re our own worst critics). If you wanna follow the project, I’m posting them over on @meaganmakesgifs and on my GIF website ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Brittny, the very picture of winter beauty. ❄️ Her ✨dress✨, her fur, her diamonds, her flowers, her joy... it’s all so perfect. This is the kind of wedding I sketched as a little girl, and it was a dream to design the florals for it. Thank you, Brittny, for the honor of working with you. Now seriously, can we talk about that dress... Stunning photography by @david.williams.photography |

Hannah’s Gemstone Jewelry is a celebration of stone and glass brought together by sterling silver and steel, and admired for the playful sophistication and professionalism it embodies.
The intention is to encourage us housewives, moms, and professional women, who have a love hate relationship to wear jewelry, even in the home. It is about incorporating jewelry in our self care. It is amazing how simply slipping on a pair of earrings can brighten the face and give a boost of energy to take on daily tasks. Our children (and others) notice these changes that we make, and they celebrate with us.
My sister-in-law and mom of two, designed this banner for Hannah’s Gemstone Jewelry. I love the color palette. This helps keep me focused on incorporating brand colors and be able to stick to them. I tried to switch to something more classic and trendy once (black and white) for a boutique, but I missed the original. Glad that I kept it, because once I made the decision to “go back to basics” I started to notice many sites using colorful logos and graphics.
Thanks for reading this far. Hope to continue to see you around. :)

Looking for ways to cut back in your restaurant budget? Consider places that don't require a tip, and ordering take-out. You're probably more likely to avoid buying a drink, too. Avoiding tips saves about 20% of your bill (no new news here! 🤓).You can stretch your restaurant budget this way, or put the money somewhere else.
Here's some of my favorite places to apply this strategy:
-Chick-fil-A (of course!)
-Thai or Chinese take-out
-Pita (a local Greek spot with gyros!)
-Willie Jewell's BBQ
As you can see, you can find some pretty healthy, non-fast food places for less than $10/person.
How much would saving 20% on your restaurant budget save you?
#notiptuesday#tipstosave (puns intended! 🤣)
On a day like this, all we need is some coffee and hot from the oven fresh baked bread!!🥖🙌🙌 I think the boys agree, although they might switch out the coffee for hot chocolate. Do you have a go-to cozy food for storms where you are? We received 8 inches of snow last night and I say received because school was canceled and the boys acted like it was Christmas! #winterstorm#slowandstill
I need to buy a camera bag for my new #NikonD3100 that I'm still trying to name. I had a few good suggestions, and now I can't decide. Anyway, carrying it around in its box in a canvas tote is clunky to say the least.
But I swear, that's the ONLY thing I'm buying for it at the moment. No flashes, no studio lights, no new lenses ... I'm going to try to put that off until I get better at using it. Otherwise, this could turn into a clutter-filled, very expensive hobby.
That's usually what happens when I start a new creative hobby, and this time, I've done a little self examination and come up with a few steps to avoid spending money on things I don't need or use. I've written about them over on the blog. Take a look -- click the link in the bio. Is there anything you would add to my list?
Closer to 30 but feeling and looking better than my early 20's
Same girl two different views of herself and definitely different love for herself .
Early 20s i used to think of working out as a punishement to my body for eating too much, confidence level at rock bottom, and my way of eating healthy was restricting myself, starvation and magic fat burning pills .
Late 20s i have learned to love and care for my body as the temple it is. I fuel my mind with self development books to keep me motivated, uplift me, and get those Aha moments. Nutrion is all about whole natural eating, lots of nutrients, and that 80/20 lifestyle
I stopped seeing physival activity as punishment, and when i am having those i dont want to do this days i have my girls to help me push through! ❤🙄 we have built a little community of ladies who uplift each other and push each other to be the best version of themselves. That has been the secret sauce to where i am vs. Where i used to be 😘
Winter #TinyHouse vibes. ❄️✨ The beauty of a wintry scene is in the details, how it makes you slow down and appreciate sensations around you like the sound of softly falling snow, the fresh smell and sight of all intricate natural works of art. 💗❄️ #simplepleasures
In the studio and getting paper originals ready for sale! Today was the ideal day to trim the paintings to size and add my signature since the gloomy weather made photos a no-go. Now I’m getting the web listings ready so I can focus on photography tomorrow. Let’s hope it is sunny in Ohio tomorrow! Wishing you good weather too!
