I obsessively wash my hands. When my son was born almost 2 years ago, my hands were so dry they cracked because I was constantly washing them without following up with cream. Now, I keep a tube/tub of cream or salve in every bag I own and by the sinks I use. Below are the ones I could find easily to share with you. What creams are YOU loving?
🤚🏼 @kalastylesoap Swedish Dream Seat Salt Hand Crème
🤚🏼 @khallstudio Barr-Co. Fine Oatmeal Cream (I love this scent)
🤚🏼 @coldspringapothecary Intense Moisture Rose Hand Salve 🤚🏼 @weleda_usa Skin Food (this is the one I use nightly before bed)
🤚🏼 @traderjoes Ultra Moisturizing Hand Cream
🤚🏼 @loccitane Dry Skin Hand Cream (OG but I hate the scent)
🤚🏼 @yubeskincare Moisturizing Skin Cream (this is the one I use every morning; I love this formula)
🤚🏼 @drjart Ceramidin Oil Balm

Acids and chemical exfoliants are huge part of my skincare routine. I have dry (sometimes dehydrated) skin, so it's important for me to get rid of the dead skin that can build up. @Paulaschoice products have been a godsend for me because the price point is amazing and they're EFFECTIVE.
⚡️Skin Perfecting 2% BHA Lotion - When I first purchased this product I was thinking that it would be a liquid, but it's actually a lightweight gel consistency. The BHA lotion comes in three forms: Gel, Liquid, and lotion. The lotion was perfect for me because it's formulated for dry and dehydrated skin. Whenever my skin starts to breakout I reach for this, and within in a week my skin is much better. I've had a great experience with this and I'm thinking of picking up the liquid version next.
⚡️Skin Perfecting 8% AHA Gel - Typically when I'm looking for a chemical exfoliant I got for AHA's. AHA's are preferred for dry skin because they have more moisturizing to them. I love this gel from PC because it penetrates deep and helps clarify my skin when I'm feeling congested. This is also great for ridding that dry dead skin and revealing new fresh skin.
The @sundayriley products currently in my rotation - decided to finally pick up the UFO because of @ssssamanthaa recommendation for acne prone skin and I've been using it, and the luna oil I'm still testing (luna was a gift from family - these are expensive as hell so check depop first)The UFO is a BHA (salicylic acid) and the luna is a retinol oil. Have you guys tried either of these and if so, how have they worked for you? Any other Sunday Riley products you recommend? I've been looking for the Juno but haven't seen it in my local Sephora store, so I may get it online at some point. I do love the colors but I would prefer if skincare companies refrained from adding colors and fragrances to any skincare products despite the cute packaging. Review to come, but please share your experiences!

Girl In Season officially launched last night 🥂🎉 I have the sweetest friends who threw me a launch party and have been so supportive of my blog since day one. If you haven't already, go check out Girl In Season for all things beauty, fashion and travel. #linkinbio 💋☺️🎉🥂🍾
Pictured today, products I have on qeue to use (plus a Skinfood oil cleanser that I didn't include here because aesthetics 👀).
I made the decission to stop buying skincare items until I've started the last of these products, I don't want to hoard for the shake of it 😪
▪️ @sum37_official Time Energy Skin Resetting Refining Toner; to use when I'm done with my current toner.
▫️ @saturday_skin Daily Moisturizing Cream; which I bought for 18€ I think? shipping included FIVE MONTHS ago 🤦♀️ It arrived the day I was leaving for South Korea so I couldn't bring it with me. To use it when I finish my current one.
▪️ @innisfreeofficial Aloe Revital Sleeping Pack; I bought it in Seoul in freaking May and I still didn't use it by the time I took this photo because I didn't yet take its photos for the blog, I'm a mess 🙄 (I have since done that).
▫️ @naturerepublic_kr Super Aqua Fresh Watery Cream; I bought it at the duty free, it's my favorite cream and I wanted another one 🤷♀️
Okay, Ashely Hasegawa.
I did exactly what you told me to do and, as per usual, you were right.
Last night, when I had dinner with @gamine.beauty, she was like, "have you tried the @107oneoseven soap, yet?" Her eyes were full of expectation, anticipating that I would gush about how much I loved it.
"I haven't tried it, yet..."
Then Ashley got all, "GUUUURRRLLL!!!" She explained how foaming it was and how smooth it felt on the skin and how it's made such a difference on her body and that she finally decided to give it a whirl on her face.
I, of course, put up my dismissal hand ✋🏻(figuratively). "I love my Simplistic Cleanser. It's my favorite. It smells like Ricola!!"
"Yeeeeaahh..." Ashely too put up her, figurative, dismissal hand ✋🏻"You NEED to try it."
So, I did. Now... I have not changed my mind about my facial cleanser (maybe because this is only the first time I've use the soap and this tightened my facial skin more than I like...). But, my bod is so soft right now. I'm wondering if this will help with my KP on my arms (Keratosis pilaris)
first impression of the @oneoseven Premium White Soap was a success. How are you liking yours? @peachkao @lovingbeautyandlife @the.brown.eyed.fox @lotusandthesnail @my_cup_of_jojo @lazyglow
Time to test for 30 days.
Thanks to @beautibi for sending this to me for review! 😘
SO THIS is my new Holy Grail ✨. During the summer, I usually like to give a break to my skin and wear less makeup so this cream is just a good option for me. It gives me the colour correcting that I need since I have red skin and scars due to my skin pulling/picking disorder. What I'm talking here is Dermatillomania also know as Excoriation. I've had this currently classified "obsessive-compulsive related disorder" in DSM-5 for the last 6 years. Recent studies showed that 1 out of 50 people would have this condition. I found some of my triggers, but following a #koreanskincare for a few year now have really helped me. It's still a work in progress, but I'm still working on it 👊🏻.
🍃 I just want to mention that this picture (cream and packaging) might be different from the one on the official @drjart IG. The reason why is because I got mine from Korea on a Korean website @cosmetic_jolse (jolse.com) that ship everywhere in the world 🌎. I'm saying it because I know you can usually get it at Sephora, but some country don't have access to it (I also think it's cheaper).
🍃 So this cream doesn't turn my skin green or gray, but I also have a very light skin tone. It doesn't clog my pores and it actually reduce the redness and the size of potential break-out. The formula is really thick. I would compare it to a mix of sunscreen and clay mask (without the dry part 🙈). And I LOVE the smell. It smells like a mix of herbs and essential oils, but it's still really moisturizing.
🍃 Application : I usually put it right on the "trouble-spots" and use a beauty blender to blend it on my skin when I do my makeup during the morning. I usually wait at least 15 minutes after I applied my suncreen just so it doesn't feel too tacky. I know there's already some in it, but my different sunscreen have SPF50+. I also use a different beauty blender/sponge than the one I put my BBcream on. ✨ I don't usually do touch up with it because I don't want to walk around with the jar. But I'm really considering to DIY a cushion compact for it (yes this is how much I love this product - I'm still planning)✨
🍃 Do you guys like to DIY your cushion compact ?
On the desk today ✨
-Empress candle from @kavaldon - with notes of Black Pepper, Tangerine, Clove, Jasmine, Rose and Amber- it's easily one of my favorites.
- Neroli Infused Marula Oil from @africanbotanics - I am reintroducing this beauty into my routine along with their Nutritive Molecule Vitamin C serum. I will keep you guys updated!
- Scent of the day: Gypsy Water from @officialbyredo I am halfway through this big bottle already, am I'm afraid I will run out. I can't live without it!
I will slowly re-introduce more active products into my routine and will definitely be more selective of the products I use! I have been really loving a simple skincare routine and plan to continue doing so.
Do you reduce your skincare routine in the summer? What is your must have product?
Can't wait to hear about your faves! ✨
Exfoliating powders are gentle, effective and range from inexpensive to high end. My powder trial started with the @bioreaus baking soda and I loved it. Sure regular baking soda will work but this #skincareaddict had to branch out! @boscia @swbasics and @dermalogica became the next products. My face is tough and exfoliating is a daily part of my routine. @ultabeauty @target @sephora and even @walmart carry certain brands. I believe even the most sensitive skin can handle this gentle exfoliation (in my opinion). What exfoliating powders have you tried? #bbloggers#skincareaddict#makeupaddict#exfoliation#dailyexfoliation
A few months back the kind people at @swanicoco.en sent over a generous package of items for me to test out. I’ve been testing them pretty extensively since then and I’ve finally finished my blog post on the @swanicoco.en The Bio Therapy 1st Essence and Fermentation Care Serum. You can check out my blog (link in my profile) for all the details, but here are some highlights.
The Long Sciency Sounding Name 1st Essence looks nice and feels nice. It comes packaged in a hefty red bottle and the formula itself looks and smells just like water. It’s 99% bifida ferment lysate, so if you love nothing more than smearing your face in fermented bacterium this is pretty much an ideal product. I didn’t find this did much for my skin outside of adding a little extra hydration, but I’m not sure FTEs are that effective on my skin in general. It’s not something that excited me, unfortunately. I wouldn’t purchase it personally -- especially since it isn’t cheap -- but if you love FTEs then I absolutely think it’s a very high-quality option.
LOVED the Fermentation Care Serum. In fact I loved it even more than I anticipated. It’s a thin, somewhat watery cloudy-colored serum that smells faintly spicy and herbal. The ingredients read like a hanbang warchest. I mention in my blog post that the packaging is somewhat deceptive, as the fairly large bottle only contains 30ml of actual product, but I think the airless pump is fantastic. It applies easily and absorbs well. I found this did wonders as far as keeping my skin bright and clear; I used this pretty much as my only serum for around two and a half weeks, nearly three, and I was very pleased with the results. My only issue is the cost, which hovers around $60 on most sites I found. I actually think the serum is worth the money, I just personally have trouble justifying spending more than $50 on a single skincare item. That said, I would do it for this serum. But I’m waiting for a sale… Just in case!
And that’s it for now! Thanks for taking the time to read, and a massive thank you to @swanicoco.en and Kevin in particular. I’ll be posting my thoughts on the other products they sent over the coming months.

Me encanta 💓

I received my package from @beautyinhanguk the other day and all I can say is WOW. All of the products included were so thoughtful with respect to my skin type, and there was a good mix of masks and product types I have been wanting to try. I'm almost done with my Shark Sauce testing phase and I can't wait to incorporate something from this curation next!
Which product should I try first: Laborite Firming Ampoule, Goodall Clarifying Plum mist, or Missha MISA Geum Sul Emulsion?
Has anyone tried the Mamonde Enriched Nutri Sleeping Mask?
Thanks to @willingbeautycompany

☀️SUN PROTECTION☀️ My first true daily SPF that I could stomach to use everyday. It's relatively cheap, it plays well under makeup, and lasts well in sweat and humidity. It dries quickly too! I've since moved on to try other formulas, but you can be certain I always come back to this when I'm not in the office for the day. If you're not wearing SPF everyday, you need to start! Daily sun exposure puts you at risk for developing skin cancer, as well as ages you, breaks down collagen, encourages wrinkles.. etc. SPF is the greatest thing you can do for preventative measures. If you want to be wrinkleless for longer, START WEARING SPF. If you use any form of active/chemical exfoliant, WEAR SPF. Those treatments makes you sun sensitive (even if you use it at night!) and sun exposure will undo any good you do for yourself at night. I also suggest wearing hats (you'd be surprised how much it cools you down) when you're outside in the sun for extended periods of time. I started wearing hats while hiking and no more 🙅sunburns🙅 #ITGTopShelfie#skincareaddict
