anyone in the EAHS Class of 2012 who slept out 6 years ago understands this photo on a spiritual level. was it miserable? yes. was it some of the worst weather I've seen in my days? yes. did I compare that giant mud pit to the depths of hell the entire night? yes. but was it worth it? absolutely fucking yes.
hope the seniors had a great sleep out last night! stoked for the festivities of this year to begin this evening, luv my town so damn much. ❤️🏈🔥🐾 #easton#football#bonfire#sleepout#turkeyday#beatpburg#RIPthosecheesecurls
Last week during Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week, our team at Mobike got to join Covenant House and some members of the DC community at Sleep Out – an event/fundraiser where we sleep outside in solidarity to help keep our community’s youth safe, provide housing and food, help them find jobs, and most importantly, provide a home with the love and support necessary to help them reach their full potential
This is Covenant House’s biggest fundraiser, with the goal of ending youth homelessness. If you are interested in making a donation or connecting with this amazing nonprofit, please DM us and we can get you in touch with them
LIKE and SHARE if you want to help end youth homelessness, keep our young people safe, and get them to become active members of the community 💕

We want to make Scotland an example for the whole world to follow. We’re a small country. A nation of innovators. But the statistics of homelessness in Scotland are not insurmountable.
We can do this. We just need you. Follow the link in our bio to donate and help us reach our goal!
Hey everyone, I’m participating in Social Bite’s Sleep in the Park on 9th December to help eradicate core homelessness in Scotland. Homelessness combined with complex needs such as substance misuse and mental ill-health is becoming a greater problem for local authorities across Scotland and people aren’t getting the support they need so please join the movement and donate as much or as little as you can afford to help make a difference and give someone hope that a brighter future is out there. Any support gratefully received. Thank you for your kindness. http://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/gillian-dalziel-
Some of the @aliveexcel squad will be taking part in a #sleepout to raise awareness and money for @centrepointuk , a charity that works for 16-25s who find themselves homeless. .
This is a great cause and we would encourage all to give, even your little can mean a lot for those who will receive support.
Get sponsoring, link in bio.
Just want to say a massive thank you to everyone who donated and helped. It’s still not too late if you would like to donate a little somethin’ somethin! Cliche as it sounds but every little penny does go a long way and makes a massive difference. Simply click the link on my bio to donate or if u would like to know more about the charity to help young homeless teenagers.
A true eye opener on how we are so quick to judge on the stereotype of homelessness in our society we pass by everyday and the little things we take for granted. Still a lot to learn and questions that need to be answered... but just a big thank you again for all the love and support! #nottoolate#sleepout#whatif#helpthehomeless#depaul ✌🏻
Friday night saw me have another great comfortable and warm night in this sleeping bag. I was concerned that it wouldn’t be as warm as previous down bags but since down wasn’t an option this time (due to a recently identified allergy), I can’t fault this synthetic filled bag. Thanks @mountainhardwear and @alpkit for the Dumo sleeping mat, a great combination for a very comfortable nights sleep. #sleepout#carcamping#newgear#sleepingbag#autumn#uk#lakedistrict
Thank you to our 64 Sleepers, our sponsors, performers, CHIL youth, staff, and many supporters who made the first #CHILsleepout a success. Together, we surpassed our goal, with now over $163,000 to help Chicago’s homeless youth. #CHSleepout#Chicago
Dozens of housed and unhoused people gathered in downtown San Francisco for a sleep out to raise awareness about ongoing encampment sweeps and the adult city shelter waitlist that has exceeded 1,100 people. An estimated 7,500 people are experiencing homelessness on any given night in San Francisco, with 58 percent of them being unsheltered. Attendees received free haircuts, warm meals and entertainment from live music and movie screenings. Link in bio to my web and radio pieces.
What an amazing experience Sleep Out was! It was a fantastic evening learning about Centre Point and hearing from the young people whose lives they’ve changed. It all got real pretty quick when bed time rolled around - sleeping on the ground on the coldest night this season. There are thousands of young people sleeping rough every night and this is unacceptable in our time. Remember there is still time to tonight - follow the link in my bio and give anything you can!
Thanks to my awesome colleagues who made it a little easier to get through and thank you to everyone who donated it means so so much!
Ps. Thanks to @christ_goddard for pulling this video together 🧡
This past week, I slept outside on a bitterly cold and damp winter night in London.
The only things that kept me warm were having the company of the good people and the knowledge that the money you helped me raise will be making some homeless youths’ lives a little bit better!
Well we done it, 10 hours outside last night. Sleeping outside was cold, wet, uncomfortable and disruptive but all worth it to see how much money we raised. A real eye opener to think that we were wrapped up well and had what we needed to stay warm and yet we still couldn't, so how do people who have nothing do it ? Simply, they don't. More than 4000 people slept rough in 2016, let's try and get this number down. @jclancy16
