Joined slimming world tonight - online as I don't feel I can commit to the weekly groups due to other commitments (I.E. the kids and h2b!!) After getting my bmi done today (😭) I'm determined to start and STICK to this, and at the same time really crack the whip with getting my diabetes in to shape again.
I finally tried out the #slimmingworld recipe for the "haribo" sweets, and i must admit...they are pretty damn good!
Recipe below - "Haribo"
2 sachets of jelly
2 sachets of gelatine
1 muller light
Silicone molds (around 50)
Add 1 jelly sachet and 1 gelatine sachet to 140ml of boiling water. Mix until dissolved.
Fill up your molds half way with the mixture.
Put your half filled molds in the fridge to set for 10 to 15 minutes.
Make up the same mixture again, but this time add your muller light to the mix and stir. Pour this mixture on top of your set jelly and return to the fridge.
Once set your sweets are ready to be eaten.
Gelatine - Free
Hartleys Sugar Free Jelly Crystals - 1.5 syns each
Muller light - Free
Total: 3 syns.
In between working from home, doing a site visit then heading in to the office for the remainder of the day, I managed to prepare a quick and filling chicken and beetroot salad and some homemade spiced sweet potato soup I took out the freezer yesterday. After work, I went shopping for an elderly friend, visited another friend then did a 45 minute circuit at the gym before having another salad for dinner - it's all about the convenience! This time it was chicken and wholewheat pasta which I made up with some @arla.uk Basil and Tomato Quark. Used some syns for light mayo at lunch and two @slimmingworld Hi-Fi Light bars throughout the day so ending today on 9 syns which means by weigh-in tomorrow night I should be on track after my street food and beer at the weekend!
UH HUHHH... literally my jaws have not stopped since I got back from Mexico. Mega struggling to get back on the bandwagon which is stressing me out 😭going to group on Thursday so hoping after that it'll give me a kick up the butt I need. Going to go shopping tomorrow and make a menu since we have lived like we are still on holiday since we returned having only cooked one meal... I also graduate Friday and have my grad ball on Saturday so my whole weekend will have gone to shit. Lunch was SW meatballs, peaches, satsuma and muller light and tea (0.5)
Dinner: special rice with chicken and bacon and a mini curly wurly (3).
