Slightly different pose, same pub toilet mirror, one year apart and weighing the same number ✨ I’ve had a good think today, I’ve realised that I’ve maintained my ‘goal’ weight of 10st 7lbs for a full year, actually just going up and down by a few pounds but never going over the 11’s and never lower than 10st 2lbs yet I’m still putting pressure on myself to reach a new goal of 10st when actually my body manages quite well at this weight! I’ve had an absolute ball this year, I’ve had nights out, days out, weekends away, parties galore and I’ve eaten and drunk in vast quantities at times BUT I find a balance by getting straight back to eating well, about 80% of the time anyway. I’ll be honest, I always feel better when I’ve got a few pounds to ply around with, I always think I’ll enjoy Christmas more or my holidays more if I weigh a bit less ready to relax but actually that never happens. It doesn’t happen because I always enjoy events regardless and also I’ve learnt to eat healthily no matter what time of the year it is. I suppose I still get so scared I’ll go back to “fat alice”. I love food, genuinely love it and it takes willpower every single day to avoid the things I love, the pasties, cakes, takeaway, tubs of ice cream and above all cheese but my determination to be healthy and happy in my own body outweighs the cravings and I’ve finally accepted I can still have those things, just in moderation. Anyway, the point to this post is I’m not chasing those unrealistic numbers anymore, It’d be a struggle to stay there anyway when I’ve found my happy place ❤️ We can all strive for perfection and to constantly improve but I don’t think perfection exists. So after my super long sleep after work yday, I feel so much better and was so refreshed! Yes I may have slept too long (17h), but I have spoken to the dr about it and I will bring it up again, so I will get it sorted :) -
Today has been so much more productive than the last couple days so yey, but I still haven’t done as much as I had hoped to have had done 😞 hopefully I can get it done tomorrow and feel a bit more confident for Tuesday!
Food wise today tho, I had a hifi bar [3 syns] as I was craving sugar when I got up today, I then had a cheese and ham triple stack 😍 so amaze! And cause my bread slices weigh so little (checked the their day) it’s within my Choice B, and I had my Choice A with 40g LF cheese! Plus a tbsp of LF mayo [2 syns]
Had the leftover ham that was in the pack cause why not lol!
When I finally got round to having my advent calendar choccie [1.5 syn], it was another reindeer ❤️! Got my room cleaned and showered myself etc (usual procrastination 🙄) and then headed to uni.
Took a flask of my homemade tomato soup made with tinned tomatoes and beans😂 weird but tasted ok when I added the right levels of spices! Also had squares [4.5 syns], mango, orange and yogurt to snack on whilst getting my studies done!
Had some roasted pepper Couscous as a snack also, only 4 syns the whole pack and I had half so [2 syns]! Sorta successful day! Will probably be studying for another couple hours as I’m so much better studying at night!😊
