Day 3 : OH MY , OH MY ! Today I’ve created a citrus smoothie which absolutely tastes amazing . I’ve added lemon , lime , grapefruit and orange as the citrus fruits as well as skim milk and vanilla yoghurt and to top it Of with a bowl of grapes . What a great breakfast to start of with 😜 #smoothiequeen#smoothieporn#healthybreakfast#fruitarian#healthandfitness

I spent the morning seeking out NUTRIENTS to help stave off this sneaky cold. I got myself a “greenest” smoothie and a ginger shot. Almost like a taste of FL in the frozen north 💚
Smoothies are great to fight a cold or allergies and to keep your immune system on point. Make one a day and keep the doctor away.
📝 Groovy Green Smoothie🥤
• 1 Frozen Banana 🍌
• 1 cup Green Grape 🍇
• 4 oz Vanilla Coconut Yogurt 🥥
• 1 Cup Baby Spinach 🍃
• 4 oz Smartfruit Harvest Greens 🥒🥝
• ½ Green Apple 🍏
• 1 cup Crushed Ice ❄️
BLUEBERRY VANILLA ZUCCHINI CAULIFLOWER SMOOTHIE 🥛🥒
Okay, so I already fell in ❤️ with cauliflower in my smoothies & now I can say the same for zucchini! 😍
•It’s low on the GI, high in fibre & water, which makes this smoothie super hydrating for the body! It’s also full of antioxidants, B vitamins, vitamin C, potassium & phosphorus.
•The trick is to steam it first then freeze it & throw it into your smoothies for thick, creamy texture filled with tons of health! Steaming it also makes it easier on the digestive system.
•Zucchini is a great way to cut back on sugar in your smoothies! You can use it in place of banana or swap 1/2 your banana for some frozen zucchini so that you still get a bit of that natural sweetness!
•1/2 cup unsweetened organic almond milk
•1/2 cup filtered water
•A handful of spinach &/or kale
•1/2 cup of frozen blueberries
•1/3 cup frozen zucchini
•A few chunks of frozen cauliflower
•1 tbsp. @vitalproteins collagen peptides (Swap for more protein if vegan)
•1 tbsp. @myironvegan vegan vanilla protein
•1/2 tsp. pure organic vanilla to sweeten
•A few ice cubes
•TOPPINGS: Ceylon cinnamon, berries & bee pollen (antioxidants, vitamin C, omega fatty acids, anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial & immunity-boosting)
•Add all ingredients to your blender & blend until fully combined & incorporated. Smoothie should be thick & creamy!
•Taste & add more vanilla if it isn’t sweet enough!
•Add toppings & devour! 😋
This is what happens when I can’t decide what to have for breakfast 🍌🍊😂 ... I have a little bit of everything! Now if only I had some fluffy pancakes ....🥞😋✨
- Banana Turmeric Chia Pudding 🍌
- Maple Berry Overnight Oats 🍇
- And a Mango Mint Smoothie! 🌿
Beets? For breakfast? You bet!
I managed to hustle the crew out the door early for a frosty morning walk. As the sun rose and began to warm us, I felt really grateful. For the clear, sunny sky. For a safe, clean place to live. For the views on our morning walk. And just for being alive and healthy in general. I returned home feeling energetic and inspired to make every part of today beautiful. Hope this puts a little “yay” in your #friyay too! 🤗

CLEMENTINE CRUSH 🍊
(v, df, nf, gf, paleo options & RSF)
I am seriously crushing on this clementine & coconut smoothie. It gets extra creaminess & nutrients from frozen cauliflower (trust me on this one!) and is packed with vitamins & minerals, healthy fats, fibre & protein. 💪🏼
The clementine is a cross between a mandarin and a sweet orange. It is juicy, easy to peel, less acidic than a regular orange, and contains no or only a few seeds. Clementine season in the US is very short, from November to January — so now’s the time to get some!!
Clementines are low in calories (only 35 calories per fruit) but rich in fibre, antioxidants, minerals including potassium and, of course, vit C — more than half your daily requirement in one little fruit!
In this smoothie, I also used baobab powder (BP). BP is made from the dried fruit of the baobab tree. It has a wonderful tangy, citrusy flavour that pairs well with clementine, and is unusually rich in fibre (including prebiotics), vitamin C, and antioxidants. BP is packed with minerals including potassium, magnesium & calcium, making it a great addition to any post-workout shake. Consumption may also promote fat burning and improve skin, gut & immune health.
See website Food Joy page for recipe, but here are ingredients:
Clementines, coconut milk, coconut water, steamed-then-frozen cauliflower, @genuinehealth natural protein powder (or use hemp seeds for protein if prefer over protein powder), @crushedtonic probiotic collagen peptides (omit for vegan), @ecoideas baobab powder, and optional pure vanilla & orange extracts & stevia or raw honey (nonvegan).
Topped with melted cashew + coconut butter (soooo dreamy!) & @giddyyoyo cacao nibs.

Banana Man dancing on his banana boat!!🍌🍌😂 Who wants to join the party?🎉
B-A-N-A-N-A- happy dance occurring in 3... 2... 1💃💃🍌😂 Today is all about the fun of food😜 I find that when you learn to enjoy the food you eat, eating healthy becomes a natural and easy thing to do. Find the healthy foods that you love to eat and run with it!! Just like how banana man is giggling while frolicking in the fields now🙄🌾🌾
Bulletproof matcha 🍵 I often just default to eggs in the morning, but this is so tasty 😋! All I do is blend up some matcha powder (instead of coffee - but you could also use tumeric or maca) with boiling water and any 3 fats from this list: pure cream, coconut oil (I use the liquid kind because it has a higher MCT concentration), cacao butter (gives it a bit of a white chocolate vibe), regular grassfed butter, avocado oil, coconut cream (not often because of the carbs, but some days I love that coconut taste). I usually do a heaped teaspoon of each (so 3 all up), but sometimes I go a whole tablespoon if I’m hungry or I know I’m not getting lunch until late. If you aren’t using any kind of cream you’re going to want a splash of almond milk in there too. You can also add other fun ingredients to sweeten or thicken it (think monkfruit or stevia for sweetness and xanthan gum or yoghurt for thickening). Fantastic way to start your day with some calories and antioxidants but a minimal insulin spike. Great for before the gym too, get those ketones firing!
Mint chocolate is one of those combos that will never get old to me 🌿🍫 Throw some frozen avo 🥑 in there and it’s a creamy dream 💚 I wonder if my love for mint chocolate chip comes from my lifelong love of ice cream? 🍦🤩 On another note, I’ve been using tons of zucchini in my smoothies lately! 🥒 A milder flavor than cauliflower and adds so much volume and creaminess. I’ve just been chopping a bunch of fresh zucchini and not freezing it. It’s already cold enough outside, no need to have a super frozen smoothie! ❄️☃️ How to 👉🏼 In a @vitamix, add: 1 cup almond milk + 1 frozen ripe banana 🍌+ big handful of baby spinach + 1 cup chopped zucchini 🥒 + 1/4 frozen avocado 🥑 + 1 TB @betterbodyfoods cacao powder 🍫 + 1/4 tsp @simplyorganicfoods peppermint extract 🌿 + 1 scoop @furtherfood collagen. Blend till smooth, about 2 minutes🌪 Topped with a @squareorganics chocolate coated mint protein bar 🍫 + cacao nibs + a sprig of fresh mint 💚 ✨ Use code “laurenslovelykitchen” for 20% off your order on squareorganics.com ✨
To all my ladies who suffer from autoimmune issues, ibs, dairy intolerant, or gluten intolerant.
This shake is the holy grail. I’ve suffered so much in the past with being backed up + having that protein shake “blockage”. I was so SCARED to try another shake because so many in the past were just not good on my digestive.
This heals our gut. Repairs it + helps us absorb our nutrients better when we eat it. It’s helped me monitor my 30 lb weight loss and it curbs my cravings for all DA DONUTS.
I was a broke single mom looking for answers as to why I felt the way I did and I finally sound the solution!
Vegan goodness served up daily is the kinda life o wanna live. 🌿

🇬🇧@riyadmahrez26.7 “Riyad rocket” smoothie for breakfast (I’ll post the video meal on Friday)
Cocoa is one of our best dietary sources of polyphenols, and has been linked to improve brain function, healthy ageing and heart benefits. However, it is the cocoa (or cacao) content which is important, so when cooking or eating chocolate, look for something with 85% cacao content minimum.
