As stated in the member's only group on FB (it's still open for anyone to join -- it'll cap off soon though) Monday started off moody and heavy, but something I remembered this weekend (because of this beautiful sweater from @camplight_and_oils -- seriously Tiffany this sweater SO cozy!) is besides giving others grace you have to give YOURSELF grace. I spent the first two hours this morning refocusing and praying for grace over my foggy and misconbobulated mind! You have to give yourself grace. Monday's are hard because they carry such expectations for the week but what you have to remember is God is guiding your week. He is pulling you in the direction of your priorities if you just ask. When the overwhelm sets in, and the devil starts to guilt you into feel that you're not good enough, you pull out the grace the Lord gives everyday and you say "this is the day the Lord has made, I will REJOICE and be glad in it" no matter what. Give yourself some grace and let God guide your day. 😘❤️

This is not Bali, this is somewhere in between Australia and Bali. Somewhere nice, obviously. A peaceful place with colourful fish, ever smiling faces and the sweet memory of holding the hand of my favourite person. I've never been so far away from home and (prepare yourself for some cheesy stuff) so close to myself.
And just like that, she's 9 months old!

Oh this weather...it is making us photographers a bit nuts. We have been dodging rain for months-and this session was no different! We all ran back to the parking lot and sat in our cars for 20 minutes, but then....we got this. Sometimes you just gotta be patient.
I’m going to take a short minute to share a bit of the mom in boss mom. Today was tough. My Hanalei is completely sick, and I believe i’ve caught whatever she has. I rattled off my tasks the night previous so AJ could know what to do to help. He is off today as he had work to do on our other business. We have this very important balance for priories that would not work out if we both didn’t find God in everything we attempted to do. Even today, I was really worried about how I would manage the important tasks that laid before me. I thought for a moment that I was too overwhelmed to even attempt the day, but, with a little prayer God gave me direction for the day, He reminded me that Hanalei needed me to be calm, and as present as possible. So while my body was ailing, my heart and spirit kept going. I watched her, and sucked her (whoever recommended nose freida — THANK YOU!) and rocked her and played with her knowing that my tasks for D&D were needing attention. But I remained calm, and just kept saying, “This is your business God, you’ll make the time possible to reach the goals you have laid out… I know you will.” .
Around 2pm, AJ finished the work that we needed to be completed and Hanalei went down for a nap. Then around 2:30, my team members got online. AJ told me “I got this now babe, you go handle D&D” and at 2:45pm the ornaments FINALLY went live to our members only group and subscribers. I was able to finish 5 silhouettes, connect with 4 of our new connection with intention collabs and reach out to my team members to encourage and support them with their own tasks. All of which i would have felt was too much to tackle if I didn’t trust God and his timing.
I think it’s important to share this because, this business works because everything is guided by the faith and purpose that God has and he provides the help and support needed. I really try not to worry. The hustle comes and goes, but today was a great lesson in just trusting how God handles time. He made all things possible today, even in my sick state. I think we need to remember this, especially mommies, when we feel there is just TOO much to be done. Give it to God. Just offer up the day. 🙌🏼
