Did you know that there are 25 times more sharks inside the Misool Marine Reserve than directly outside?
We know where we'd live if we were a shark.

@alexkyddphoto photographs a large Manta Rays belly. His photograph will then be used to identify which individual has visited us here in Coral Bay. The unique markings on the Manta's belly allow us to distinguish who they are. Then the legends @projectaware can tell us more information about where and when they were last sighted. @oceancollectivemedia
The Ningaloo is one of the best whale watching destinations in Australia, both for numbers of whales within a very short distance from shore and variety of species seen. One of those species sighted on a semi-regular basis are the orcas (killer whales) which visit the Ningaloo each winter and spring following the migrating humpback whale herd. Jacob Hill sent in these images for the #Ningaloo Photography Competition of hunting orcas as seen from the air.
See our website to enter the Ningaloo Photography Competition, for your chance to share in a $3,620 prize pool, but be quick as entries close October 31st!
