It's the most wonderful time of the year. It's kind of fall, kind of winter. The holiday season is ahead of us. We snuggle in a little closer, grab an extra blanket and do little things around the home to stay warm and cozy. One of the things I love about New England is the four distinct seasons. Sometimes they overlap. Sometimes they don't make sense. Sometime snow falls in October and then you wear shorts to go cut down a Christmas tree. It's all good. The seasons keep us moving forward, giving us sweet memories to look back on and good times to look forward to. ✨
SOTD November 11, 2017. WOAH I just listened to this EP for the first time about a week ago and lemme tell you I slept long enough on it. Honestly I'm not too into female vocalists, but I can definitely get behind this, 6/6 of the songs are bops. Also hopefully she can go on tour in the spring/summer, that'd be cool
My very first winter hike in mid October 2013 seemed like the best pick for this #tbt after the White Mountains just had their first snow this November. @buonotonio and I stumbled upon fresh snow covered mountains by accident, but as you can tell by my face, I was in my glory.
2012 was my first year into discovering my love for the trails, and by 2013 I had been taking a life changing turn into learning what the wilderness meant to me, and how it made me feel. This winter surprise was rigid, as we were severely unprepared, but still I felt so alive.
And isn't it funny that I suddenly realized how empty, alone, and lost I felt until my first winter in the wilderness at Lonesome Lake? I had finally found where I belong. ❄👣🌲
There’s a certain type of music that says, “Hey, you may not like what is going to happen, but it needs to, and you’re going to be okay, just maybe not right away.” Chelsea Cutler is one of those artists that fulfills that for me. Besides her music, this yard game shows me that as well. It shows me change will happen and outcomes won’t be what you expect - and that’s okay. Change HAS to happen for anything to get better. It shows me both ups and downs, but regardless of the outcome, peace is still maintained somehow. I play it. “It” is called, Kubb. #askmeaboutit#peace#yourshirt#chelseacutler#snowinoctober#november#fall#kubb
