Happy Friday everyone! We’re really loving our new candle vessels. Don’t you think they look gorgeous? They feel lovely too, with a soft but matte surface, almost like a ceramic! Available in our bestselling numbered collection fragrances from fruity Fig to juicy Pomegranate, which one takes your fancy? #plumandashby
Slowly tackling my dressing room. It's a blank canvas and I've lots planned! Happy that the clothes are out of boxes and in my new @normanncph Kabino drawers 🙌🏻
I have some clothing rails arriving today, check out my recent blog post on a selection of Scandinavian clothing rails. I basically want them all...... link via bio
When you place our bottles of wash and lotion next to the sink, it creates the perfect finishing touch in your new kitchen 🙌🏻 kitchen by @HumphreyMunson, photo by @paullmcraig ✨ #plumandashby#sinkstyle
Copenhagen-based #interior#designer Hannah Trickett named her #blog Hannah in the house, in reference to several difficult life choices she had to make. Find out more about the obstacles she had to overcome and follow @han_house for a glimpse into her passion for Scandinavian #minimalism in our latest article - follow the link in our bio.
Back to normal service after my previous dark and moody post, with a photo of my lovely room at @brochnerhotels' Hotel Danmark. I'd wanted to stay at this place ever since it opened last year, so it was the obvious choice when I had a night in Copenhagen on the way back from Sweden earlier this week. It didn't disappoint!
Our popular and ever so lovely Green Fig & Lavender fragrance is available as a hand and body wash, lotion and hand cream. It’s perfect to keep the whole family’s skin staying moisturised and smelling divine and it looks spot on styled next to your kitchen or bathroom sink 👌🏻 what’s your #sinkstyle ? Share your photos with us! #plumandashby
The difference a day makes, beautiful sunny light filled room this morning.
Current details in my room whilst I decide where this stunning print from @kristinakroghstudio is hung. I bought it for my office which is still very much work in progress but the colours work perfectly in our bedroom, so here it stays whilst I wait for my replacement mirror - that's a whole new story as months later i'm still without it - not annoying at all [mentioning no names]
Have a wonderful day guys x
PS lovely @christinathaisen sells this lovely print.
Am I the only one that didn’t like how warm it was yesterday? I got ready to head to the flower market in a warm coat, but instead had to replace it for a cardigan and sunglasses. I just want crispy cold sunshine and thick knits, is that too much to ask? 🍂🙈 I did get some beautiful flowers though, so can’t complain too much!
Today's work station. After exhaustion, fatigue and a sore throat, I've developed a whopper of a cold. I must rest, drink lots of water and take vitamins etc (though any tips will be appreciated). What I really want is to pamper myself and feel less grotty. Face masks, tissues and telly 👍🏻
Lazy Sundays and a bit of pampering. It's well deserved after a spin class and run. Which wasn't easy with a sprained toe 🙈 I have a huge bruise on my hip too and I have no idea how I've done either of them. My husband thinks I'm sleep walking 🤔
Easy Like Sunday Morning 🍂🍁 drinking tea reading for the first time @91magazine
It’s super windy outside and being snuggled inside is only like the bestest feeling ever! #positivi -tea #autumnalequinox#interiors
We'd better add antibacterial wipes to the carry on only packing list. I'm glad I've made the most of the hydrangeas from my garden but the reality is they should've been replaced by tissues this weekend - the lurgy has found me and I'm blaming the plane journey home. Thank goodness for tea and @erinloechner 's 'Chasing Slow' for making it bearable. Will give this book away on my stories when I'm finished as usual, so keep an eye out. Happy Sunday to you! Any exciting plans?
Getting hyggelig inspiration at @skagerak_denmark , one of my favourite interiors showrooms in Copenhagen. If you've not visited it yet then you should. I'll be collating a list of the best places to visit here in my new city. Where do you like to visit? And what would you like to know?
Those around the table introductions fill me with dread, but we follow so many people it's easy to forget who they are. So, I thought I'd say hi 👋🏻 and a big thank you from the bottom of my heart for following me. There's somehow 12k of us now and I'm so grateful to you for dropping in here every day.
Intro wise - I'm Jessica, I'm a writer & photographer & 6 months ago I started my minimal lifestyle blog at jessicarosewilliams.com. My deepest passions are simplicity, travel and creativity. I help people simplify life so they can do more of what they love. I'm happiest on a horse, drinking tea or on my way to the airport. •
What about you? Even if we know each other for ages I'd love to hear your answer....
A favourite of ours from the @fordhousenorfolk shoot around this time last year! Such a fun few days with the whole team (and Bertie)! We’re currently preparing for another P&A night away next week, talking all about the brand and we’re very much looking forward to it ☺️ #plumandashby#sinkstyle
A feature of our home over on @svenja_traumzuhause's wonderful blog if you fancy a read, along with a little interview with me. There's a mention of a few of my current favourite IG accounts too... have a great day... x
From one hotel to another... On the blog today are my top five stylish places to stay in Madrid, including the minimalist but gently quirky @7islashotel, where I stayed on my last visit to the Spanish capital.
Already had my second slice of homemade pumpkin pie of the day. And the 4th slice in 2 days....not the best looking one i’ve made but so tasty! I plan on making at least 1 a week until end of November. That’s ok right? 🍂🎃
I'm aware I've posted two photos of wine in a row, but it's been a long day without a break and I've finally shut down my computer, so I'm having a sneaky Monday evening treat.... Please don't judge me!
Happy Monday! I was rudely pulled away from my dream world at 6:30 this morning and I'm still feeling so, so tired. I usually naturally wake up before my alarm clock starts ringing but lately I've been feeling so exhausted. I wonder if it could be the darker mornings..? Though I do have one of those sunrise alarms too but it doesn't seem to working 😭 I wonder if it just takes some time for my body to adjust to the new season... If so, I'd like it to adjust to it a liiittle bit quicker please! 😬
On a happier note: This picture is from the Duke of Wellington pub on Portobello Road where I went for Sunday roast yesterday. The food was so good (the perfect comfort food!) and the decor, as you can see, was gorgeous too. Would highly recommend! 🙌🏼
