This is a project that I've made when i was studying accessory design at the Academy of Fine Art in Naples in Italy. The project is a bag inspired by one of the stations of Naples and I've choosed Materdei station. I was inspired by a Sol LeWitt art work, one of the artist that worked for decoring the station.
Five Modular Units occupies a decisive position within Sol LeWitt oeuvre. The simple units were a starting point for LeWitt to conceive increasingly complex aggregate structures. And while its cubes are reductive in format, their size and scale—sixty-three inches high, approximately eye-level for many—presaged a new direction in his work, toward more monumental forms. @stormkingartcenter #sculpture#sollewitt#stormkingartcenter#industrial#art#conceptual
Love, love, love the work of Sol LeWitt so was delighted to spend a bit of time in this installation @mariangoodmangallery Soho We are really hoping to get to Brunate's chapel in Italy this summer to see the chapel that was transformed by Sol LeWitt and David Tremlett in 1999. Tremlett painted the interior murals and LeWitt added the colourful bright designs to the exterior. .

Such a nice, relaxed interview today with Randi of @thefoxboxco - she was channeling #sollewitt with her #watercolor as we chatted & painted. .
