Weekly session done with @coachshav feel like a new man again and ready to smash another big week! Currently sitting at 97.8kg first thing in the morning... reckon another 5 to come off before I really shape up.
My singletrack trail ninja has seen a few upgrades recently. The first was the 32t oval direct mount chainring from Russia. So far, I like it. It makes my pedal stroke feel smoother and I'm less likely to break traction on steeper, loose, terrain. Long, seated climbs feel a little better and hardly notice it (in a good way). Next the Fuel saw some new, wider, stiffer wheels that give my tires more volume. They feel much more planted in corners and I feel like I've got more overall traction. Then, I have to thank @rockshox, @bikepackermag, and @neil_beltchenko, after some semi-destructive product testing on the rugged Colorado Trail Race leaving my old Reverb haggard, hooked me up with a brand new Reverb 1X Stealth dropper. After routing internal housing, and bleeding shifter style lever, the new dropper is BUTTER! Actuation feels much smoother and lighter than the old push button. I can't wait to drop into fresh trails with this beautiful build.
