There are two people I know... who know pizza. Like really fucking know pizza. My kid... and my guy John.
Today, John figured out how to doctor up my 1964 Frigidaire oven. The top burner has never worked which provided heat for “broiler” mode. With ingenious craftiness, some awkward body angles in getting muscles into the beast, and a medley of rudimentary parts: steel plates, screws, elbow grease, and some knowledge of electricity... he got my oven working with a $15 dollar Amazon burner replacement part that wasn’t suited to this ‘64 version! 😃 We did 4 experimental scenarios of figuring out best methods... but the pies we made were some of the best ones yet to come out of the oven.
More experiments to follow, but in the meantime, the kid is in heaven☺️. Thank you @jehhughes🙌😘🔥👨🍳👷🏻♂️🍕I cant wait to see the pies that will be coming out of this oven!
