Today I've opened up in my journal about my struggles as a shy and introverted person in life and travels. It's by no means a perfect piece of writing but it's very personal and gives you a better sense of what I'm like in real life. It took some bravery to hit publish so I hope you'll take a read. 💛 [Also, if you'd like to receive journal entries direct to your mailbox then I just added a subscribe function on the contact page.]
That time 6 years ago when I took a landscape photo at #macchupicchu without the hundreds of tourists that day. As someone who was been traveling around the world for quite sometime now, it makes me a little nostalgic about the time when there were still a lot of travel frontiers. But with globalization, I feel like there are no more places to be discovered (other than where the uncontacted Amazonian tribes live, who we really should leave alone). And that makes me a little sad for the next generation. 😞 I still remember almost 20 years ago when we decided to go to Bocas del Toro in Panama at an urging of this British dude we met at a bed and breakfast in Costa Rica. At that time, there were only a few huts on the water and we spent $90 for 2 people in 10 days, everything included. I wish that all the people that travel now strive for a more authentic experience and encourage everyone to not commercialize and build massive resorts. I feel like it changes the locals as well as the travel experience. ✈️ Ok. Getting off the soapbox now. Have a great day everyone! The weekend is almost here 👙👙👙
El Calafate was the middle ground for our trip. The town is 3 hours from Torres Del Paine and 3 hours from our next stop, El Chalten. We stayed here after finishing up the W and getting back across the border to Argentina. The biggest attraction near El Calafate is the Perito Moreno Glacier in Los Glaciares National Park. This glacier has an average height of 240 feet above the water (can you see the tiny boat in the distance?) and constantly cracks and sheds ice into the water below.

So Mr. Vidal this was nothing. Four big Chances and no goal. In the game against Venezuela he could have with a few clay pigeons. As he reveals after the game between the flower he has lifted the gates for the games against real. Well, then can nothing bad happens against Real in The CL.
