The last few days have been pretty intense.
Day two of our challenge was tough. After the adrenaline of starting had worn off, the reality of how far we had to walk set in, along with quite a few blisters (I have 10 on one foot), Frankie wouldn’t settle on Tom so I ended up carrying her for over 20 miles. My feet are a rank sight!
We decided to give Frankie a break on day three as she’s having a tough time with teething and although we were sad not to have her with us it meant we flew through the day and covered 20 miles in 6 hours.
Today has been the toughest yet, very sore feet and various aches and pains but we managed to arrive at the Sustainability Center near East Meon in time to enjoy our yurt’s pink splendour!
So looking forward to our final leg back to Winchester tomorrow.
We are doing this to raise funds to support our wonderful friend Ella and her family whilst she recovers from lymphoma.
Any donations are hugely appreciated and you can do so by following the link in my bio.
Thank you so very much everyone that has donated so far 💗
Inglis Hall are based in Lewes, a small, busy town sitting on the South Downs National Park. We feel so connected to the nature of our surroundings, whether it's the rolling hills, the ancient forests or the breathtaking wild Sussex coastline. It inspires us every day.
I'm running with a friend this morning, so feeling in need of a hearty breakfast. This is porridge oats with cinnamon, chopped apple, chopped almonds, chia seeds and a little coconut sugar. A tasty and energy boosting combination ✨🌟
My book is racing up the charts again, writing it was one of the easiest and fun things I'd done for ages, the results of it have been one of the most rewarding - not in terms of financially but in terms of self esteem and helping others, it literally changed my life and my future
