Mucho ánimo, fuerza y apoyo a todas esas personas tan valientes que le están plantando cara a esa enfermedad que es el cáncer de mama. VENCERÉIS!!!
I become a lover of #cozy narrow streets🌁
There it really feels how the city lives, how the people are, what are their priorities.
If you want to discover the #soul of a place, see how locals live with no decorations. Where they do laundry, how they dry clothes, where have lunch and how they spend their evenings.
What is Barcelona for me?
A necessity to find a quiet street. Long walks with the head up. A real ocean in the city. No-rush breakfast.
Partly, this is how I'd like to find it.
I definitely can't complain about the days I've spent there, it was gorgeous. I just had to make more effort (comparing to my other travel destinations) to get the desired result.
Probably, it was a wrong time for being in #Barcelona . High season is triple higher there than anywhere else 😂
Next time I'm there, it won't be summer 😆
❓Did you ever have similar experience? Where was it and when❔
Guess, where was next? Barcelona!
I’ve heard about this #city since childhood and never actually knew much about it.
The first day there was just crazy! Choosing to be a typical #tourist (unfortunately, I didn’t have enough time to spend there) I decided to see most of the sight at the beginning and turned left from my hotel to #LaRambla street.
There were SO MANY people (90-95% tourists) in a rush, that I was just lost in all that noise. I couldn’t see the city, no buildings of a beautiful #architecture . I couldn’t enjoy the #atmosphere of the city, I couldn’t feel the city! I didn’t understand Barcelona at all.
But I have a friend who adores #Barcelona and I asked myself: Why? I didn’t make any conclusions and gave it a second chance.
The next day I turned right from my #hotel to a lonely street. And it was a right choice. Calm and spacious Barcelona was… #special .
Barcelona is full of beautiful fountains, and the Cascada Monumental does not disappoint. Gaudi played a small role in the construction of this (under Josep Fontsere) while he was still an unknown architecture student.
