The Grand Mosque at Abu Dhabi looks the best at sunset when you can see the transition between its day look and the night when it's all lit up.
The amazing part is the balance it has been able to maintain with its identity even with thousands of tourists visiting it daily. The strict enforcement of the dress code as well as the dedicated places only for worshippers makes sure that even the tourists leave with an indelible mark of its grandeur, heritage and cultural identity.
This image was taken from a secret enclave alongside an information window which is normally closed off to tourists.
Doesn't this look like a fairytale castle from Aladdin?
The sky before the night.
The leaves in the fall.
The rhythmically bouncing basketball
The poet’s nightmare.
The fire’s glare
The bottle of prescription pills
The pumpkins on our porch, still. #orange#wonderland#forest
