🌅Sunset shred☀️ had to seriously sprint up Mt. Baldy last night, definitely worth it! Dropped in just as the last bit of sun beamed over the horizon for a minute of magic🔮🙌🙏 @patrickpfister13 capturing the moment perfect! @yetiresearchco @roamproducts @ltdoptics
Strait banging out miles on Mt Shasta with @rockerskirack (photo credit) this morning. This is the back country, it's no joke. You have to be aware of your surroundings at ALL times. Always carry food and plenty of potable water (I prefer La Croix) and most importantly never stop for a nap in the middle of a chute because you are hung over from your birthday. #backcountry#backcountryskiing#mtshasta#splitboarding#extremesports#snowboarding
"She sees mirages of mountain ranges. Within a blink of her eyes it changes back to the open plain. Oh no, she can't explain... I am a bird that's in need of grounding. I'm built to fly away. I never learned how to stay"

I love the peaceful moments when you get to soak in your surroundings. It's the silent moments like this where we get to spend quality, one on one time with ourselves. It's good to take time to get to know yourself. #yegacc
What is happiness? If you were to take 100 people and put them in a room and ask that question. I bet you'll get at least a 70% chance of different answers. Yet, deep down once you peel the layers. You'll see that we're all on the same wave length with different values in the way we were brought up. When it boils down, I think we are all looking for acceptance. From family, friends, co-workers, peers, lovers. We all want to have a voice and be heard and respected for our views and values. I wonder why our world is so chaotic. Why there's no truth, why do we listen to one way and not hear out another. We are on a constant brink of destruction. We are a plague, like it or not. I've always believed that we were put on this earth to destroy it. Our time is limited. Is their time for people to change their values, their views. To pursue a simpler life. I for one don't need the life I live. I would be happier to stay in one place, a little cabin in the mountains and just disappear. But, hears a thought at why I travel the world, and quickly tick off the places I want to see. Well, I know life is short. I'm not going to put everything aside and wait to be retired. I want to live now! What if this world goes to shit and you can't travel. Security goes up and your banned to enter. What if we keep destroying these places and they don't exist. Glaciers are receding at a rapid rate, and the garbage is rising. Yet, I do no real justice, I'm still part of the problem. I don't grow my own food, I don't hunt, I fly over the world, or drive all over BC with my buddies, use sleds/ helicopters/ planes/ boats to access the mountains. I've always considered that cheating. Yet when we do get into our zone for intended splitboard mountaineering it's all foot powered. We use the motors to get all our food, gear and us to the location and then spend weeks in the terrain. Limits the usage of fuel. Yet, I've never felt good about it. The catch 22 of life, swinging a double edged sword. Happiness what is it? Wherever you find it, share it. The world needs more of it. If theirs anyone to love in life, it's Mother Nature. We take so much, yet she asks for nothing in return. 📸 @macdask
