Sunday editing session, but I wanted to share with you a really special part of Leah and Bucks' story as I chug coffee and work away.
This is Landon. He's almost 2. He's insanely cute and will definitely kiss your face off.
When we met for our first wedding consult, Leah asked if I could snap some photos with Landon in them, as Buck would be adopting him as his son. My heart literally exploded. Her mom was tearing up, I was tearing up, the coffee girls were tearing up (not really but they would have if they had overheard). It takes a very special human to love another's child-- it is a whirlwind and a learning experience and it is the most amazingly unique love. Landon is so lucky not only to have a rockin' mom, but a super rad dad.
I'm not crying. You're crying.
Did anyone else hit up the Pinspiration Market this weekend?! What a great event! So fun seeing all of you, and check out these great goodies I picked up! Huckleberry honey? Whaaat?! 🤓
And thanks for the caramel corn (and great company), @whitepicketfence.co
Been meaning to post this fun photo for quite some time, though the truth is, I often struggle with captions/content! 🤦🏻♀️ Anyhow... Today, I am giving to my daughter... we picked up 3 of her friends this morning, traveled to Idaho and are spending the next couple hours at the water park. Afterwards, I think we may have some dinner on the deck and plan to set up the tent in the backyard. While I always have work to do back at home (chores, meetings, editing, etc.), I won't always have time with my daughter. Today we are getting outside, we're loving, laughing and reprioritizing. Today we simply have fun! ☀️♥️ Book from: @raising_readers
