So an opportunity to join a big band playing sax came up this week, and normally I would've said no. I'm a music geek from waaaaaaaaaay back and I've really really missed playing regularly. BUT..too much doubt, too much "I'm not good enough", "I'm too busy" and "I cant". But I bloody said yes. And it was SO MUCH FUN. I played like a queen, and got such a buzz from playing in a band again. SO. Say yes! Step outside that place of comfort and you might just enjoy it. #bandgeek#music
GRIND OF THE FUCKING CENTURY. Third time's a charm 👌 This definitely pushed my mental fortitude to the absolute limit. 120kg x 1 😄😄😄 All my warmups from 80kgs onwards were shaky af, but i said fuck it and attempted 120kg anyway lol. Hyped myself up and told myself "you're not fkn giving up no matter what" and it fkn worked, despite how cliche it sounds HAHAHAHA.
Major shoutout to my boy @migzlifts for coincidentally always being my spotter when i successfully hit a 1rm lol.

When the gym is busyyyy and you've managed to grab a piece of equipment don't let go of it😂 Please do let it go ... eventually but try variations!!! It allows you to stay on the same machine and get some killer exercises in without having to find a free piece of equipment🔥
On the cable row machine I do:
🦄 Wide seated cable rows (Wide grip) (3X15)
🦄 Normal seated cable rows (Close grip) (3X15)
The variation targets different areas of your back and it makes your workout more interesting instead of sticking to the same exercises week in and week out✌🏻
Some gyms don't have this machine BUT instead use the cable machine and just sit on the floor!!! There's always an alternative😁
