#skwaats from the other day. Ain't gonna lie i felt like shit the whole workout and feel even worse today because I feel like I'm starting to get sick, which is no bueno. If it's bad enough to take me out of work I'll be angry. I hate missing work. .
But aside from that I've changed up my training style to reflect a more bodybuilding style to work on some aesthetic features I want to improve on. I've added in about twice as many sets (7 or 8) and also throwing in more variations for every body part and quite a few reps (20 minimum) and only rest a max of 30 secs. Really kicks my ass, try it for yourself. Which is one of the many fantastic things about fitness. To be able to set a truly physical goal and go after smashing it through the roof and kicking all kinds of ass to achieve that goal. The song is called Virus by Memphis May Fire but had to play around with it for copyright reasons 😑. It's really badass song, I was actually listening to it for all the sets of squats I did. I did 3 at 135 for squat cleans, then did 5 in total for back squats at 225. If anyone ever has any questions about training, nutrition or supplementation feel free to email me directly at email@example.com
2nd set of Pause Squats at 195lbs for 3 reps after a 4 set build up. I’m happy with my numbers and the steady increase every week!
Made the decision to try out powerlifting, with my first meet this spring! It’s when you realize that you need something different to keep you on track that really gets your motivation back 💪🏻✌🏻 Also, I’ve discovered my love for lifting with hats and the bubble they provide during training 😎🧢 Rocking that @memorialwraps
The heaviest I’ve ever squatted ever @150kg as a 69 lifter which is a 20KG PR. Plus this was the end of the craziest week I’ve ever had with Work and training (squats everyday if I may add and a 6rep max testing day 3 days earlier). Just shows what a good solid training month can do to your body! Starting to get more confidence now and I am looking forward to the next few months!! 🙌 #squats#squatsfordays#weightlifting
The best work, is that work that sets your souls on fire 🔥, surrounds you with incredible people and gives you once in a lifetime opportunities.
I’ve been in @vegas all week with some of my team for a network marketing training with Eric Worre.
During the day we are learning from the best. At night we are eating all the food, drinking all the drinks and taking in all that the strip has to offer.
First time trying out knee wraps and holy moly! Haven’t squatted heavy in months (latest ‘heavy’ sets were 35 kg), and I smoked my last PR (50kg) by 5 kg! They felt great, but walking is weird. Thanks to @mussa.roofinstitute for letting me try them on and encouraging me to strive for a new PR!
