Day 5 of my Arbonne 30 days to healthy living cleanse! For today's breakfast I turned my vanilla Arbonne shake into pancakes and omg..... 😍
At first I was skeptical because they didn't cook like my old protein powder pancakes but literally these taste like actual pancakes no joke! All I did was take my protein powder and mix it with some water and an egg white and that's it, you've got pancake batter. Then I just cooked them like you cook normal pancakes 😊
I topped mine with almond butter but ended up not even eating the almond butter because it tasted so good without it (never thought I'd say that 😳)
I woke up with the perfect amount of time to get my workout in. Except for the fact that I got side tracked talking to some new challengers! No complaints though- I love helping other people on their journeys and teaming up with them as I work towards my own goals.
In the past this would have meant that I had to skip my workout. With just 20 minutes, I would have just been getting to the gym with NO time to workout or drive home.
But since I workout in my living room and have thousands of workouts to choose from, I was able to do a killer 20 min cardio routine that left my legs SHAKING!
If you want to push past your excuses, then do something to remove them from the equation!

The faster you can push the bar, the more muscle fibers you will recruit and the more weight you will lift. Using explosive movements prior to your heavy training will prepare your body to move with maximal velocity and force. This effect is known as post-activation potentiation (PAP) and is the increase in muscle force and rate of force development as a result of previous activation of the muscle. 210KG / 462LBS RACKPULL 🔥
The rackpull allows me to develop a lockout with weight heavier than my deadlift one rep max 205KG. Only single reps are done. I get to feel if it's possible to lock out cleanly before I decide to pull it off the floor.
The idea behind this is to strengthen the core engagement, spine alignment and lock out of the deadlift motion from halfway to the top. Most people can get amazing weights off the floor, but end up hitching it up, and arching or bending their backs in attempts to get it all the way up just because it came off the floor. I'm not about that. I can't afford snap city.

Last set of 10 Tempo Squats became a little faster for my last 3🤦🏻♀️😜Whoops! I just wanted to finish them & sit by the fire🔥🔥 So excited to pick up a new piece of equipment for the garage tomorrow. || it's been the week of heavy workouts this week so far! I'm so glad though, I'm feeling 10x stronger than I did 6 months ago which is incredible & something I never thought would be a possibility! Definitely need to start leaning out as I keep upping my strength workouts! Today was leg day & it was amazing (it's honestly my favorite day) and apparently it's also #nationalselfieday ! So happy to be at a place in life where I'm surrounded by people who are pushing me to be the best version of myself possible both mentally and physically. This journey would definitely be much more difficult without them there to provide the support that I need on those days where I just want to lay on the couch (it's definitely a reality). When you look at my photos or videos I never want you to compare yourself. We will never be or look the same, comparing yourself will only lead to frustration. Trust me I have been there! Wishing my hips or other bits I didn't like were like other girls on social media. Sure, having goals or idols are good sources of motivation. But you should never expect yourself to look the same. You will be amazing IN YOUR WAY! Love yourself for who you are and believe in your own qualities!
I have come to expect there will always be someone better than me. Who squats more, better at youtube, better booty🤗, less broad shoulders etc etc.. I could go on! But instead of reflecting on that and letting it get to me I remember I am running my own race. The only person who has the power to accept myself and keep going is me.
