A TRANSFORMATION TUESDAAAAYYYY😝💞 it’d be rude not to comply with the rules of instagram🤷🏻‍♀️ On a serious note though🙄 I used to actually suffer from binge eating as a result of being VERY restrictive with my calories 🙈 it took a long time to change my ways and my mindset, it didn’t happen over night 🙄 it’s been a year and a half since I took the photo on the left! Here’s what’s changed; ❤️Solid weight training routine 5 days a week instead of just cardio, ❤️Don’t punish myself with food or exercise anymore, ❤️ don’t compare myself to other people anymore, ❤️Eat intuitively and don’t track anything❤️ I never weigh myself, ❤️And learnt SELF LOVE 💞 Progress takes time, never give up on your goals!🙌🏼😘👻

Gestern hab ich mich ins Training etwas durchkämpfen müssen, da ich nur 4,5h schlaf hatte 🙈. Aber wo ein Wille auch ein Weg 💪🏽! Übrigens darf ich meine Low Carb Tage bis Ende der Woche beibehalten 🙈...das Wasser muss raus und einmal Low Carb schadet definitiv auch nicht im Aufbau☝🏻. Ansonsten läuft alles nach Plan.

Post Diwali Lull 🤷🏻‍♀️ I know a lot of you might be finding it hard to re kick your fitness regime post Diwali even if you so want to yet there's lack of energy and motivation. Even I'm one of them🙊 Although I kept up with my workout through the festivities yet I was feeling not so motivated to hit the gym until yesterday. It's hard to train your mind to go in the opposite direction when all your folks are celebrating and having fun but I made it to gym even if I didn't give my 100%. Point is I don't always have that raging enthusiasm about gymming, there are times when no matter how good things are going I find myself lacking motivation and that's completely normal and human. In times like these I try to workout even more so that it finally pushes me to my zone again.
Well, you don't have to do the same, here are some quick tips to adopt post festival season to get you in form again! 🔅 Lower your carb intake and up your protein intake as all those mithai and mathri got you feeling slow and dull. 🔅Sipping on PLENTY of water, coconut water or fresh fruit juices will detoxify you body and reenergise yourself. 🔅Say NO to Caffeine! I know it's hard but it's the worst when it comes to bloating. Instead drink green tea or any herbal tea you like which will also help with natural fat burning. 🔆 Eat right! Cut salt and sugar from your diet, include more of salads, sprouts, fresh fruits or smoothies. Don't starve, eat in every 2 hours else you ll slow down your metabolism. 🔅 Munch on nuts to avoid binging on leftover Diwali snacks. 🔅 Good night's sleep! The most neglected factor when it comes to well being, you might be working late nights to catch up with the pending work but without a fresh mind all is in vain. MENTAL Health first!

Everything in life cries out for balance. Living in either end of the spectrum in any area of life is harmful long term. We break down if we do too much, we grow restless or weak if we do too little. 
Our lives as a whole need balance! Paying too much attention to your physical appearance leaves emptiness on the inside. Yet we live in a world that will judge how well you're doing based on your outer exterior alone. 
My world was a tiny pit of misery with anorexia. I had a one track mind, only one goal over all: lose weight. Even if it kills you. I look back at those 7 years and then where I am today, and I'm amazed how much life can change. I feel so multidimensional now! My time is not consumed with one freight train of a thought that crushes everything else in its path. That beautiful balance is there, I enjoy so many things. I love the peace of lying in bed doing nothing, whereas before, I felt pressure to do something, and doing something lead to being so stressed that I had to binge/purge. There wasn't a calmness in me. An imbalance of negativity.
Everyone has to find their OWN balance for their lives, people won't hesitate to tell you what is too much or not enough. To some I don't do enough, to others I might do too much or be all over the place. I've gotten the comment before that I "went from one extreme to another" aesthetically. But they don't have any clue about the ease that I live life with now. My fitness is an ingredient in my fun, free life. I take my goals seriously, but sometimes I would just rather spend my time doing other things than being at the gym. If my husband is off & wants to stay up late with me, that is what I choose over gym time without a drop of guilt. The idea that gains come before everything else is not my idea of happiness or balance. I feel leveled between big dreams & being realistic. I'm gonna get there, but enjoy life along the way. While my setbacks have not been fun, they've strengthened me mentally. Physically I've been bigger, but my mind was given a chance to grow. Life has lows which balance the highs, but both can be times of growth if you let them! Forever chasing balance so I can be the best me inside and out.
