So, I'm a lil tired from the night before, cuz I drank too much till too late in the night and woke up too early after a night of not sleeping well. So, in the morning I had a few strong cups off coffee, which cracked me out too much, so I took some sleep aid, which made me too tired to volunteer at the retirement home, so I took a few ADD meds to get me going again. By the time I came home from being banned by the resting home I was too wired again and took some NyQuil, but knew I had to go to work soon, so I took a nap. Waking up from my rest and feeling recharged, I slammed a bottle of Chimney Rock to counter my new found energy. Perfect for those occasions.
Tonight's wine is Stag's Leap 2014 Artemis. We get cedar and spice on the nose and spice and blackberry on the palate. The color is a beautiful purple. We drank this wine a bit young, but we hadn't tried it before and wanted to give it a shot. #wineandfirepit#cabernetsauvignon#stagsleap#wineoclock
Love is definitely thicker than smoke tonight at Il Fornaio - Palo Alto. I'm so lucky to work in the wine industry. Three years ago I signed up for Level 1 in Court of Master Sommelier. The places I've visited, people I've encountered, and the unforgettable meals I've eaten absolutely makes the rest of the job worth it. I had my 1st 100pts wine in my life (yet) and I can't wait to see whats next this industry bring me. #blessed#wine#clifflede#stagsleap#napa#ilfornaio#poetry#2013
Dear friends - We are thrilled to let you know that Stag’s Leap Wine Cellars FAY Outlook & Visitor Center is open. We invite you to join us for a tour and tasting, daily from 10 am – 4:30 pm. While the fire came very close to us, our employees are all safe and, incredibly, our vineyards and property did not sustain any damage. Unfortunately, many of our neighbors cannot say the same—and our hearts go out to everyone affected by this disaster. Words cannot express our gratitude to the firefighters and first responders whose heroic efforts kept our community safe from even greater loss. We thank you, once again, for your tremendous support during this difficult time. We look forward to welcoming you to experience the many joys that Stag’s Leap Wine Cellars, and the greater Napa Valley, has always—and still has—to offer. You can learn more about visiting us at cask23.com/visit, or call us at 707.261.6410, we would love to talk with you. (Photo taken October 17, 2017)
It's 8 o'clock somewhere...bottle number two! 2014 #regusci Patriarch red wine #regusciwinery informed us of the harrowing tale of Jim, his family and many of the employees desperately cutting fire lines in the middle of the night to save his home, the winery, the estate and his neighbors in #stagsleap . Way to go #winewarriors#napastrong#bestforlast
Repost from @wineaccess - We're showing our support and love for Napa Valley the best way we know how. $10 from every bottle purchased of the 2014 Chad Cabernet Sauvignon from the Stags Leap District will be donated to the Napa Valley Community Disaster Relief Fund this week. Drink wine and help rebuild #Napa (link in bio).
Great times with old friends and a really old bottle of wine. I bought it on a Napa tasting trip with @badgleybrandon and @lisalbadgley back when they were still dating! Now they've got three beautiful kids and, as their youngest pointed out, I've got hair on the wrong side of my head. #collegefriends#minireunion#greatwine#stagsleap#pineridgewinery#epitome
