a bomb ass Thanksgiving salad w/ spinach, beets, roasted Brussels sprouts, roasted kabocha squash👊🏽, cauliflower mashed potatoes, mushroom gravy, pumpkin bread, homemade cranberry sauce/jam, and more roasted Brussels sprouts🙌🏽😛😍👅🍽 made all this in two hours to bring to my family’s Thanksgiving dinner, this is my fourth thanksgiving vegan and I don’t find it hard or difficult at all, all of this was so easy, nutritious, and not expensive! So thankful that im able to nourish my body with wholesome foods, what are you thankful for?

Last time I posted a vegan grocery haul many of you guys liked it, so it's time for another one 🌞
I am trying to transition to becoming zero waste and I am trying to limit the amount of plastic that I produce. I went to bulk barn yesterday and used jars to fill some of my items for the first time which was fun to do! I will definitely do that more often. Are any of you interested in producing less waste? Food packaging is definitely where I struggle most. 😩
Pictured above is: bananas 🍌, bell peppers🌶, bread crumbs, apples 🍎, pure leaf for Shawn, poultry seasoning, diced tomatoes 🍅, canned pumpkin, sweet potatoes 🍠, frozen Brussels sprouts, hemp seeds, mixed greens, mushrooms 🍄, olives, a cauliflower (for only $2!), more bell peppers, dried cranberries, pecans, oat flour, and a cucumber 🥒😊 oh and also vegan treats for our dog Jamal from bulk barn and pumpkin pie spice.
Some ideas of meals that I'll make using the above: smoothies, banana ice cream, apple crumble, cauliflower "wings" or cauliflower soup, roasted Brussels sprouts, mashed sweet potato or sweet potato fries, stir fries with the bell peppers and mushrooms, stuffed bell peppers, salads, and Shawn is also going to make a pumpkin pie using some of the above ingredients too :)

Raw foods are the perfect foods for hot weather because they are naturally cooling to the body. I didn’t even mean for this to be completely raw but it turned out that way. 😅

Tofu fried in sesame oil, toasted cashews, broccoli, brown rice, spring onion, sweet chilli sauce, and sesame seeds 🍚✨ if I had posted my snacks i.e. a bowl of cereal and a protein shake, today would have been a full WIEIAD (WIAT?) 🍴 making up for hardly posting recently, I guess!
Shawn made us a delicious navy bean and veggie soup a couple nights ago 🍅🥔🍵 it's full of navy beans, diced tomatoes, potatoes, celery, carrots, onion, garlic and some spices. The recipe is from my friend @itsjustjamer 😊

My travel day to Florida was super smooth today. I had plenty of food 😆. But seriously, I travel with a produce box on the regular. I set myself up for success everywhere I go. This banana box fits perfectly in the overhead compartment.

I never can decide to have oatmeal or a smoothie bowl so why not both?
